Re: East Timor thread [R] coach by ex Benfica Miro Baldo Bento declined the FA invitation to join the NT. Ari is in fact very talented. Can become a good player. Alfredo (Desportivo Aves) is the only player from the Tiger Cup squad that can reasonably play in a European professional league ... just ask Cesinha or Wender from SC Braga ... He was invited last summer to play the 2005 Figo Allstars game where he faced Cristiano Ronaldo. But the best player that Timor will have in the coming years is EGAS, currently playing for OLIVEIRA DO HOSPITAL in the Portuguese 2ª Divisão. He is a 21 yrs old wide left, very quick and very talented. Played U 16 at SL Benfica and started his senior yrs at Atletico CP. The 2006 Tiger Cup (or whatever the name will be) will see Timor play with a much stronger team.
