    So, 2020?
    Holy shit!
    Right?

Having thought about this for a while, I've decided that I need a little mindless distraction from this year. Mindlessness and distraction are, of course, BigSoccer's specialties.

    I will lead off:

I follow her in Twitter and YouTube; I enjoy her video performances.

Well, they're OK. But it's not like they're The Shaggs, who Frank Zappa said are "better than the Beatles".

To be sure, the Ronettes didn’t play their own instruments.

nice. I was thinking about posting this earlier. Its in a similar train of thought. I race these for a hobby.

I wouldn't recommend getting addicted to this hobby unless you like burning and endless black hole into your wallet...

I did 1/10 scale battery for a while in the early 90s, but never took it seriously. I already have enough expensive hobbies...

Hmm. Early 90's. Tamiya brand? I think that was the most popular

It was a second hand Blackfoot truck that came with a bunch of upgrades. It was quite a bit faster than the stock model. I ended up buying a Lexan body for it.

Gotcha. I remember those. Yeah the game has changed alot. Pretty much all motors are brushless, 6-7 separate cell batteries are long gone (now lipo) and electronic speedcontrollers you adjust settings with your laptop.

So its simpler, but you just go 2x as fast so break more stuff.

What a dangerous, dangerous thread. You have no idea how many videos I want to share here.

But if I wanted to pick something most strange and spejicy, it would probably be this mashup of "The Pick of Destiny" and Neon Genesis Evangelion battle music.

If you are forced to work from home because of Covid at least take advantage of it.
