Apparently, it would be wrong to censor him from reading porn out loud if children might be present. But children shouldn't read porn themselves. So clearly he is ok with people reading porn to children but children not reading it themselves. And they think we're the groomers!

And when it was pointed out how they misrepresented the context, after he implied they hadn't, he shifted the focus of his outrage. That is what a troll does.
I think I also read somewhere that the book he was reading was Lucky by Alice Sebold, which is the memoir of a young woman dealing with the trauma of rape. I can understand why some parents might not want that in a middle school library but is that really accurate to characterize it as pornography? I mean, I suppose some people fetishize rape and equate it to porn ---- but that's pretty sick in my opinion.

And the books goes through why, including sexual assault. That line, which was ready by shouty-shouty man can be uncomfortable. But sometimes issues surrounding sex can be uncomfortable, because we still live in a puritanical society which wishes to hide sex away in some back room. But it certainly wasn't pornographic in the context of the experience, which from the link, starts with her uncomfortable and crying and the boy not caring. Take a look at American racism as a sort of caste system that puts well to do whites middle class whites and poor whites above well to do blacks and average blacks. I use caste system because there was a book that my wife was listening to an audible that was making this comparison and then I think about that and how the lady said if you also look that you'll find a lot of Indian Americans very comfortable with this caste system because the one that make it to the US are often Hindu and at the top of the caste system so therefore they view it is an important power structure and anybody joining power structure like that would want to be closer to the top not the middle or bottom so they have joined where the opportunity is and see that as the best way for for themselves. Righteousness and good of all doesn't exist in a cast society as much as the importance of the structure in keeping order and they've wholeheartedly joined in with that concept.
