What do you work on? My workload is easily down 60-70% since the quarantine. That's not a good thing at all, of course.

Not sure if we have enough. I told Poet to start the thread with the initial instructions. In the meantime, this is what I have..... the other people who benni tagged didnt respond :( not sure if it makes sense to proceed with these numbers tbh.

What would be our minimum to start? 10 teams?

I would prefer 12 minimum but I would be fine with 10 (less games for Poet, reasonable time to end the draft among the reasons).

I did tell Poet to start the process with the initial email because i think (hope) that once it goes up we could get a couple more before the drafting process starts.

Let's start drafting on Sunday. Poet can determine the order.

it is not by invitation only so anyone can particiapte.

Having said that some familiar names @JC7rox @Amdrag @PDG1978 ??

Also, my son asked me about this and wanted his own team. are you guys okay if he participates? He'll submit his picks etc through me

@poetgooner is it possible to have one thread for picks and matches? then a separate one for banter/trash talk aka tactical discussion?

Jesus, how ********ing old are you? No wonder you're so worried about Coronavirus. You're in the "at risk" age group.

I'll start the game on Sunday. Whoever's signed up by then will be what we go with.

I prefer to keep the drafting and discussion in the same place. Keeps everything in the same thread up until the point of actual gameplay when a new thread is created for it.

Ok no worries on both counts.

I had suggested the game thread idea because of an observation benni made when we did it last. The banter made following the draft itself a bit challenging. But I am down regardless.

Question - how do I see all the players in the database? Right now I am only seeing the best players and wonderkids....

almost surprised this didn't get a mention → the test corona vaccines on Africans statement from those French doctors.

    loved Demba Ba's response:

"Welcome to the West, where white people believe themselves to be so superior that racism and debility become commonplace. TIME TO RISE"

some other high profile African footballers and ex-footballers had their say also

Just logging back in. No good news really. I think the number of cases is being under reported. I don't think intentionally or at least not some grand scheme/cover up. I think there just isn't enough testing, especially among low-income folks and among people of colour.

The bad news is that we're probably nowhere near the end of this. Big picture, for the economy, there's a HUGE downturn upcoming that's going to make us long for the recession of 08/09.

The good news is that given that so many more people are infected than we can test or know for sure, there's a likelihood that the mortality rate is less than 3%.

Disclaimer** I don't speak for any agency and I'm not sharing info that isn't public. The economists that I trust are saying it is going to be really bad and some are saying it is only going to be bad.

Not really retro but I brought out my 3DS the other day but cannot find the goddamn charger!!!

I started playing A Link to the Past a few weeks ago but decided against jumping into it as I had just finished Link’s Awakening and wanted to explore other worlds before diving into Hyrule again.
