How can ChivasUSA work? I think it can't. I think it will be hard to make chivasUSA a success, I can't see non mexicans or non mexican-american becoming CHivas fans? why should they? One: that team is for Mexican fans of Chivas Guadalajara in LA. two: not every mexican is a Chivas Guadalajara fan, what about the tons of Mexicans in LA that are fans of America, Necaxa, Cruz Azul etc and hate CDG.... they are never going to become ChivasUSA fans, if they decide to follow MLS they will do so with the GAlaxy so they can chear against a team named "Chivas" that I'm sure they hate in the MFL. When it comes to away games I don't see many Mexicans supporting ChUSA. I don't care if that team folds, I never was in favor of it, at least that lack of success put an end to all those rumors about: AmericaUSA in Dallas, CruzAzulUSA in Chicago, NecaxaUSA in Boise etc.... thank god. I think LA has room for a second team, rename them L.A. Aztecs and it might work...just a thought.
