One Nation Under Bush: At a campaign rally, Republicans recite the "Bush Pledge." It's not so much a candidacy as it is a cult of personality, apparently. Franklin Roosevelt managed to get by just fine without a Roosevelt Pledge. Ronald Reagan managed to get by just fine without a Reagan Pledge. But then both men, despite their radically different worldviews and methods of operation, were both leaders who realized that the United States of America was much, much more than themselves. I expect this crap from some third-rate banana republic, not the United States of America.
