Valor Ale (14th Star Brewing Co.) I'd heard a lot about their Tribute Ale, so I tried this. It's OK, but nothing special.

Had few of these by the pool yesterday. Nice follow up to their Bitter American --- which I also liked.

Had this couple days ago. Really enjoyed it. Double IPA brewed with Australian hops. Good balance of citrus.

Boulevard's Black Pale Ale. As far as I know, it's only available in the sampler packs as it's not a formally released product yet. It's a really good combination that seems to highlight the best qualities of the porter and the pale ale.

i also had some busch light. shhh.

Just had me some Pliny the Elder IPA for the first time. Wow! This is one of those rare occasions in which all the hype is actually true.

A friend of mine had some bottles of this at his house and was kind enough to share it. Even if the beer would have been shit, the label artwork would have been enough to make it it worthwhile. But the beer was actually very good. Strong shit, but balanced.

So I have a new favorite IPA:

Surprisingly crisp wheat IPA with outsized aroma and relatively low bitterness (50 IBU). I cooked with some of it yesterday and my kitchen still smells like pine and apricot almost 24 hours later.

I think the U.S. needs to have a revolt over the size of the bottles and glasses that beer is coming in these days. Yup, I now choose the beer I’m drinking based on size. I’m done buying beer being sold in bottles that have been shrunk to 375mL, unless it is designed to be in a smaller bottle (such as most Belgian-style beers). I think everyone should join me in this boycott. ;) Seriously though.

I mean, what the fu** is this:

    ?

Does it come with a viagra pill? Obviously the idea of someone who doesn’t actually drink beer. I mean, what am I supposed to poor it in? An orange juice glass?

On a related note, what happened to the pint glasses at pubs? You hardly ever see one nowadays! They've all shrunk to 400mL glasses. Sadly I can't say the same for the price.

Very good Belgian strong ale. Strong fruit aroma, great carbonation with an earth hop finish. If you like Belgian Pale Ales recommended this

It's the first one that I've had and lucked into the last 2 bottles at the store I stopped by. Very good.
