I've been sitting here all the time, desperately hoping you'd come on. :D Just a little bout of insomnia. Slept late and didn't do much except basically do some little creep's A Level coursework. Hardly exhausting.

Nope, shes asleep now. I might go rub up against her later.

Hahahaha. It must be crap to have family you hate. I do hate Spanky's best friend. He happens to be male. Wanker!

Move it on over to the OT thread.

Re: Who should be Newcastle Uniteds next manager?

Some Toon forums are viewing the Mackem game as win-win. If we win, we win. If we lose, Souness will be dangled from the Tyne Bridge, as one outlet so eloquently put it. I doubt this would be even in the realm of possibility, but I'd strongly consider overpaying to see if Curbishley could be pried from Charlton. Or maybe even see if SBR might be inclined to make a U-turn and come back, though I'd think that bridge is long-since burned.

SBR will never return to us, he was treated very poorly and I highly doubt Fatso would even consider bringing him back.

In a sense the Sunderland match is win-win, but even if souey getsa fired I'll still be sick to my stomach for days after a defeat to those bastards.

Some blog somewhere on the Internet said Ranieri's linked. Given my description of the source, we all know THAT to be true!

Martin O'Neill WILL takeover either at the very end of the season or just after the end.

Word is that the team will be ran by Shearer and McDermott after Souness is sacked....

He's not been doing much of the latter this season, or at least not effectively.

    Thx,

Re: Who should be Newcastle Uniteds next manager?

Definitely not sold on Shearer as manager. If the team was doing better, he could be a good inspirational leader, but at this point in time we need a shrewd manager who's able to find some bodies in the transfer market to fill our defensive holes. Or at least a manager with a horseshoe up his a$$ so we don't get any injuries...

Anyway, next game's gonna be fun. Villa v Newcastle, losing manager gets the boot.

Well I would hope we could make it to the end of the season without a change but I suspect something might happen in the next month.

Re: Who should be Newcastle Uniteds next manager?

If we lose to 'Boro, it may well be in the next week. And it should be. Instead of going down with the ship, he threw two of his players under the bus after the game today, blaming them, and them alone for the loss. Granted they played like crap, but still...that's a good way to have your team tune you out.
