Not by much. No he wouldn't. Maybe at MLS level, but at the top international or club level, being strong doesn't get you anywhere. Drogba isn't good because he's strong. Anyone can put on muscle, it's what you do with it.
The game has changed greatly, small players don't dominate no more, the most dominant players are now moslty terrific athletes... I said faster and stronger... Yes Donovan would be much better if he was a better athlete since he's an attacking midfielder. And if Drogba was weaker and slower he wouldn't be that good... Again you have no arguments
You could not do things Marodona could do without being a great athlete. I guess it is how you define great athlete though. I Here is the problem the level that he has coached at all the average athletes have already been weeded out.
