Rooney & Saha a possible strike force, Crouch & Bellamy? :D
For me it has to be Raul and Ronaldo i think they scored over 280 goals between them. Also took the CL by storm in there glory days.

talking about now, i would have to think drogba and sheva are near the top of the list

Ronaldinho and Eto'o (if you consider them a strike pair)

i agree that drogba and sheva can be pretty deadly and so is eto and ronaldihno.

i think podolski and maakay can be a nice force upfront as well.

I agree with prinz poldi and makaay unless Makaay is as cold as he was all of last year. Dont get me wrong, he still scored goals, but none of them important. They will form into a good pair.

Arsenal - Henry and van Persie, thats a pretty good one too that I forgot.

Ronaldo has never won the C.L
    BUT
he was good long ago, but not good whenever he has played along Raul.
    they are both History
    Henry + Van Persie
    schevchenko + Drogba
    Klasnic + Klose (K K)
are likely to be among top scorers in there respective leagues now . if we let history die

If Klasnic can find back in form, he will pattern together with Klose one of the deadliest striking forces!

If Klasnic and Almeida continue their respective forms, you just might have to change your username to Mirogo Klosmeida. ;)

Your point about Ronaldo and Raul defies logic. Raul and Ronaldo as a couple weren't great, it never was between them the same chemistry as between Cole&Yorke or Raul&Morientes.

    Scheva/Drogba & Van Nistelroy/Robinho are unproven as a pair.

How about Gilardino/Schevchenko from the last couple of years ?

Or from 1997/1998 Inzaghi & Del Piero

Can't believe no one's mentioned Anelka&Bergkamp pair. One of the deadliest striking partnership I've ever seen.

Speaking as a Real Madrid fan, Etoo and Ronaldinho are the best paired or triple strikers. Most of the pairs mentioned are unproven.

How about Inter Milan right now with a choice between Adriano, Crespo, Ibrahimovic, Julio Cruz, and Recoba.

That's pretty deadly if you ask me!

Huntelaar and anyone who gives him the ball close to the box is good enough for you.

If we are going to take pairs from the past:

Van Basten and Gullit at Milan, Keizer and Cruijff at Ajax, Di Stefano and Puskas at Real.
