Absolutely fine by me especially if it helps the GD. Thought we were getting an Elneny thunderbolt there for a second.

I need Eddie to have less confidence, not more

Decent effort by Eddie a bit crowded out. But good he got the shot off often when he.gets crowded out he just turns it over.

And how is that not a penalty on the set piece? Dragged him down.

West Ham is just nowhere without Antonio. They were never in this one, but as soon as they fell behind, they really gave up. Good for us. Sad display for them.

To which I say, neener neener. :p

Shame ESR tweaked his ankle this is the kind of game he could have a couple of goals and assists with his direct play. Wet paper towel is more structurally sound than WHUs defense.

Elneny owes Nwaneri a drink for that miss, cost him an assist there.

Nwaneri needs to shoot like a 5'8" walkon at the end of a college basketball blowout

2 more goals would be super. I don't want to be greedy though.

    Nwaneri hatty?

The entire sequence leading to this free kick in the corner was Elneny, Cedric, Nelson, and Nketiah passing circles around West Ham.

    Lmao

London Stadium is a ghost town. :)

Only reason for a Hammer fan to stay is to boo them off the pitch at the final whistle

This one may go down in Premier League lore as the London Blitz.

Shame we didn't get that 7th for our biggest away win and WHU worst home loss. But was better to rotate players, mitigate injury risks, give Nwaneri game time (what a great game to bring him in for)

Excellent win. Need to continue being City-lite by also going on a crazy second half of the season run.

True enough. But I'll bet some wag will use it in the tabloid press.
