Start him slowly...as the team is solid it is tough to mess up the momentum....

I can see him getting a nod over Cazorla pretty soon.

Wenger said he was sick and missed quite a bit of training and that's why he didn't start vs Hull.

Even without the illness, I think it's smart to bring him back gradually. He played less than 10 the last game, and about 20 yesterday. Maybe he starts on Sunday.

Theo has to absolutely start vs Everton if he is fit. We need our wingers to keep their full backs honest.

Aside from the thrashing we handed Everton a few years ago, they have mostly given us fits in recent times. Let's also not forget Roberto Martinez's Wigan seemed to always play us extra hard.

Im hoping a similar start to yesterdays match, but only this time we find a way to convert our chances at a higher rate.

last season we missed some sitters in this fixture, plus they had fellaini fouling us every time we got in their half, we'll win this one i reckon.

This week end, a minute of silence will be be observed at all grounds for Nelson Mandela.
RIP Madiba. You are a and will always be an inspiration.

Not sure how appropriate it is, but with Pienaar in for the match maybe the club can involve him in some tribute to Mandela.

As long as he's back at Eastlands.

Ozil has to be rested at some point, right? Especially with the Christmas fixture list and having to play 4 games in ten days. He has to play at Man City, so does he get Everton off or does he get Napoli off? I'd rather he start the Napoli game on the bench, and come on if we need a goal. Plus, Ozil's movement will be more useful off the bench against tired defenders.

A rusty Jenks and Theo on the right huh. Hope Theo is really fully match fit. He's gonna have to transition a lot if Jenks gets pressured / exploited. They also both have the potential to step up big and we have seen them both pull big performances out of their hats as well. Lets hope that's the case tomorrow.

Yes, with the exception of Pool, everyone else gave up points. Big opportunity for us to stretch our lead. This game is looming larger by the minute. COYG!

I hope your ready for it to go further down if it means we'll open up a 7 pt gap, not that you have much control over it to begin with. We all know that's Kevin's job for the time being...

A little off topic but I gotta ask...does anyone know of a footy fantasy league that's not a salary cap league? I feel like everyone has to have almost all of the same players to stay competitive, and the players at the top of a given league can just mirror their closest challengers teams and ride out the season, effectively playing defense and sitting on their lead. It's kinda wack.

the top 5 teams all have ramsey and suarez.
other popular players in those top 5 are hazard, mertesacker, giroud, aguerro, mignolet and lukaku.

the problem with picking the same players is that it will slow or stop you being able to catch up, as those you are trying to catch end up grabbing the same points.
ps. the reason i've dropped so much (800,000 places now :( :( ) is because i had 4 starters who didn't start and 2 injured subs, so basically an 8 man team, with 4 of those to play today

Well, I'm pumped for this game. Not as excited as I was the united game but still anxious. Three points will make my day and give me purpose in life.
