Lol our lord and savior Eddie Nketiah coming on

Taking off ESR is an obvious mistake.

Eddie in for... ESR? One of our most productive players this half?

Arteta has always been terrible at making subs.

77' Nketiah on for ESR. Except for removing tired legs, I don't know what that's gonna do. Maybe it's just Arteta thinking "somebody should be able to score... the current lot can't seem to..."

I was about to say we should take martinelli off for Eddie and push ESR out left with 2 up top but I knew mikel wouldn’t do that. Same sub as Thursday

Players are gonna have to earn this one on their own, I guess.

This is a match that really needs Nicolas Pepe.

80' our 10th corner comes to naught. But we earn another FK in the final third which.... comes to naught. Then another volleyed shot by Laca but it's never gonna beat Pope. This seems so hopeless.

On a separate subject, anyone else notice that the USA feed keeps having drop-outs like we rarely ever saw with NBCSN?

We're not going to create shit with Smith Rowe off.

"Guy's at the center of every good attacking move we make? ******** that, take him off."

When Eddie comes in very late as a sub in a desparate game, he seems to often make regrettable, possession-conceding, time-losing fouls. Like just now. Am I wrong?

87' Gabriel with a fairly wide-open header, gets good firm contact on it, but right into the hands of Pope. Just not our day. Just more anemic shooting.

Burnely are happy to give up corners. We could take 100 without scoring on them.

    FT ARS 0-0 BUR

The final stats say it all:
    • Possession: 76% - 24%
    • Shots (on goal): 20 (5) - 8 (1)
    • Corners: 12 - 4
We owned this game in every way other than being able to put a ball into the net. UGGGGH.

I absolutely HATE NBC's "bonus coverage". If I wanted to watch LCFC-BHA or CP-LIV, I would've been doing that on Peacock already.

    FT: 0-0

I'm so disappointed in Saka. His decision making with the ball in/around the box was abysmal.

If anything Arsenal looks like they need this upcoming break. And they clearly need some fresh players.

Complete disaster of a game from Saka. Just a total black hole in the attack.

Big thanks to Xhaka and Partey for their wildly unnecessary absences.

419 minutes without a goal, including 180 against Nottingham Forest and Burnley. Another horrific Lacazette miss hammers home the need for a new striker.

    The referee today was pathetic.

Any success we have had is despite Arteta, not because of him. Extending him is, like many things we do, an extremely foreseeable error.

No games until February 10. Thank God.

Saka certainly was terrible this match. Very wasteful in the attack third.

We attempted 34 crosses in this game.

    We completed 3.

Hell of a gameplan against Burnley.
