First there was the thriller at Villa. Then there was Nelson's masterstroke. What's next for this special group? Let's watch.

No Eddie, Leo, or Jesus. Need Martinelli to step up.

Feeling nervous about this one, don’t think we have the juice especially if we don’t have Ode

Yup. And we should be well behind Gabi in this calling.

p.s. Was I dreaming or was there chatter about Jesus making the bench for some recent game. I see no evidence of it in any match reports.

It was reported he would travel with the team to Portugal mid-week, so there was speculation he could/would play on Thursday. If he did make the trip, my guess is that he was deemed not fit to play before the match. I haven't seen any reports on his status from Arteta or anyone else on him though.

He didn’t travel, but he’s definitely back in full training

From the Arsenal website summary of Arteta’s pre Fulham presser:

on if Gabriel Jesus will be fit enough to play a part:
Let’s see, he will only have one more training session. He really needs to feel confident and ready to do that, and he’s got a big say in that.

It sounds as though Gabriel will have input on whether he feels ready. I don’t think he will start, but based on this answer I could see him coming on for the last 25 to 30 minutes of the game.

Sure would be nice to have a performance like the famous we've-got-our-arsenal-back from 18-19. Of course that proved to be a false dawn, and this season seems nothing like a false dawn. :)

Totally forgot that, myself, as here in Georgia they were poised to vote doing away with it last year. I honestly thought it passed.

I'd moan about the lost hour but it's not like my life is anything spectacular.

Is Trossard sponsored by Adidas? He should be, his hair streaks are elite.

Wow Trossard back in the XI is a very pleasant surprise. Not to mention GJ on the bench. Let’s do this!!

The river facing stand at craven cottage looks like a monument to gentrification.

David Cootes as HR... vague memories of him being not so good in our recent history. Hope that's wrong in one way or another.

Surprised that Trossard is on the pitch but absolutely take that!

The all black strip with a rare appearance. Most of you will love that, but IMO this would be perfect day for red & white, especially against their white & black. Oh well, that's all window dressing.

9' Martinelli has played 2 consecutive over-the-top diagonals into the box. Neither has been good/close enough, but I don't mind that tactic.

The camera stopped panning, and I was like "why are they showing this hotel, where's the stadium?"
