Scans show Luke Shaw set to be out for 4-6 weeks with hamstring injury.Another player suffering muscle problem in congested schedule.@TheAthleticUK #MUFC https://t.co/mrMcpf3jmE— Laurie Whitwell (@lauriewhitwell) November 10, 2020
Anthony Martial, who trained away from the group during the build-up to the game, was an unused substitute. Both players will be fully assessed on their AON Training Complex.🏥 https://t.co/WLj5Dp28Mi#MUFC— Ben Dinnery (@BenDinnery) November 18, 2020
Post intl break injury update. Rashford expected to be fit for #wba game. Suffered a tear in a shoulder against Arsenal. Was able to play v Basaksehir & Everton but view was it needed resting during int'l break. Martial, Lindelof (both back) & Maguire (bruised foot) to be assessed #mufc https://t.co/S7sCTrDfTO— James Ducker (@TelegraphDucker) November 19, 2020 Eric Bailly is edging closer to a return from a muscle injury. Phil Jones could be back next month from a long-standing knee problem #mulive [@TelegraphDucker]— utdreport (@utdreport) November 19, 2020 Hoping against hope that Jones will be ready and set for a move in January...
Rashford not trained apparently since the Everton game hence no England game! starts for Utd when you've got VDB Cavani Martial all MATCH fit. Finding it hard to defend if I'm honest, you can see his form is poor of late because of lack of care from the coaching 🤦🏽♂️ #MUFC👹— 🇾🇪John O'Kane (@johnaokane) November 23, 2020 If this is true, this is not a good look at all. As mentioned elsewhere, it's not like Ole has to start Rashford because of lack of options. Rashford has been poor as it is in recent games and now more than ever because of that shoulder injury, he needs to be sidelined so he can rest and heal up completely.
Not the news we want to hear but at least, Ole is not taking chances this time. Can only hope it's not the same ankle that gave him problems last season. OGS tells MUTV Paul Pogba's ankle has swollen up. "Trained yesterday, didn't feel right."— Simon Stone (@sistoney67) November 24, 2020
Injury update with concerns for Pogba, AWB and Lindelof. Solskjær confirms injuries to Wan-Bissaka, Pogba and Lindelöf – utdreport
Pogba and McTominay "very unlikely" to play for Man United against Southampton on Sunday according to Solskjaer. Rashford, Lindelof and Wan-Bissaka all carrying knocks but were able to train this morning.— Rob Dawson (@RobDawsonESPN) November 27, 2020 Not a good time for an injury crisis to potentially pop up with an extremely busy December on deck and we better hope that Ole will be judicious will the players on the bubble right now nursing knocks (Rash, Lindelof and AWB). As far as Pogs is concerned, it's not the same ankle that troubled him last season apparently. Not a recurring injury at least but we saw how bad it can get if that kind of injury is not dealt with correctly either.
Hopefully not injured. Donny van de Beek shows off his war wounds 😅 pic.twitter.com/nf0uUBpzKN— utdreport (@utdreport) November 29, 2020

Latest injury updates. There are a couple of worries ahead of the PSG game later this week. Manchester United give injury update on seven players ahead of Paris Saint-Germain fixture - Manchester Evening News Will be good to have Pogs and McTominay return, even if the PSG will probably be too soon for either one of them. Fingers crossed, Telles can shake off what's bothering him. Timely return for Lingard as well: hopefully he can come into some form and provide some much needed depth. We'll sure need it in the coming weeks...
Both Cavani and Martial were injury subs according to Ole - which is a concern ahead of RBL and City games given both play #9.
Solskjaer has confirmed that Tuanzebe and Bailly were not included in yesterday's squad due to injury. #mufc— The United Stand (@UnitedStandMUFC) December 18, 2020 That is not good considering neither have been seen in an actual game as of late. Not surprising coming from Bailly unfortunately at this point. But Tuanzebe now also appears to be one of those players, like Bailly and Jones, who can't remain fit for long. Bringing in a CB in January has to be a priority. We keep pushing Lindelof and Maguire in this fashion and sooner or later they'll break and we'll be in deep trouble. Get that Mengi is an option, but having him play and perform consistently in the first team is a tall ask at this time.
Tuanzebe has posted pictures of him in training today with the rest of the guys. Hopefully, he can be ready for Everton (Vic and Maguire need a break).
Victor Lindelof injured during Leicester v Man Utd - Boxing Day 2020 | Manchester United Will have to see what comes up after further testing, but this is precisely what was feared. Something was bound to give at some point. Whether it's something serious or not, it surely stands to reason that Vic will need some time off. We should be fine short term, with the timely return of Bailly and Tuanzebe but conversely, this is still a major potential issue longer term, should anyone else go down.
Solskjær: "Aaron [Wan-Bissaka] trained with the boys. We didn’t do a lot because there was snow and it was just about preparation training anyway. If there’s no reaction he should be available." #mulive [mu]— utdreport (@utdreport) December 28, 2020 Solskjær: "Victor [Lindelöf] didn’t train this morning so we’ll give him 24 hours. He’s still getting treatment." #mulive [mu]— utdreport (@utdreport) December 28, 2020 Even if somehow he were able to play, he probably shouldn't anyway... Needs the rest, one way or another.
Daniel James picked up a knock against Leicester City #mulive [bbc]— utdreport (@utdreport) December 29, 2020
Facundo has contracted Covid according to his agent. Shame since he apparently was slated to be in the squad for the game vs Watford. We'll see what Ole has to say about that. The worry obviously is who else might have caught it, particularly since he's been training with the first team for a few days now.
Pogba, Shaw and Lindelof all missing tonight through injury according to Solskjaer. Bailly will have to be assessed. Sore neck after being clattered by Henderson. "Hopefully he won't be out too long" #mufc— James Ducker (@TelegraphDucker) January 9, 2021
Will surely still be going for a scan but this appears to be positive from Bailly. Good job by the team to advance in the #FACup. I am OK, it was just a knock. 💪🏾 pic.twitter.com/Ua8oQiV91k— Eric Bailly (@ericbailly24) January 9, 2021
#mufc sources say Anthony Martial's injury is not as bad as first feared, and he was moving freely after the Burnley game. He will be assessed on Thursday morning #mulive [@ChrisWheelerDM]— utdreport (@utdreport) January 13, 2021
Ole says Rashford will have a knee scan tomorrow to see if there's any damage after he felt something during the game against Pool today. Not good. If the medical staff are worried enough to get a scan, then that's typically not good. If we lose Rashford for any serious period of time, our title challenge is probably over.
Marcus Rashford's knee scan on Monday went well. There is no significant damage, just some bruising. pic.twitter.com/SN4Y51MAmw— Football Tweet ⚽ (@Football__Tweet) January 26, 2021
