That's pretty much how I feel about Pog's Covid diagnosis. Him having to quarantine means 2 extra weeks off. As long as he's safe at home (in regards to his family), don't imagine it will be this big thing for him and he'll get over it soon enough.
Ankle injury forces Rash to withdraw. Gutted 😔 never want to let this team down but these fixtures just came a little too soon for me. I tried my best but I have to focus on starting the season at my strongest for club and country. Good luck boys, I’ll be cheering you on from home 🦁♥️ @England pic.twitter.com/2OMHKPFLpm— Marcus Rashford (@MarcusRashford) August 31, 2020
Laird had to come off from today's U21 EFL Trophy game vs Salford City with what looks like a hamstring pull. A shame if it is the case since he was earmarked to go out on loan...
Pogs back in training today after recovering from Covid OGS to MUTV: "Paul (Pogba) lost out on a couple of training sessions because of the virus. He is quick to get fit. Hopefully he will be ready for the weekend. I am not 100% sure though."— Simon Stone (@sistoney67) September 11, 2020
Some good news here. Axel Tuanzebe has fully recovered from his foot injury and has not suffered any setbacks. Tuanzebe is confident about his playing prospects at United and a source close to the player says "he feels brand new" #mulive [men]— utdreport (@utdreport) September 12, 2020 Badly need him to hold up and remain as injury free as possible this term.
Ethan Laird has rejoined #mufc first-team training [men]— utdreport Academy (@utdreportAcad) September 29, 2020 Actually relieved his injury didn't end up sidelining him for too long but here's hoping he can remain avoid missing any significant time for the foreseeable future, so he can go on a long, consistent run.
Axel Tuanzebe is back in full training and will compete for a place in #mufc’s defence after the international break #mulive [@mcgrathmike]— utdreport (@utdreport) October 6, 2020
Bailly appears to have picked up what looks like a hamstring injury in IC's draw vs Belgium... Edit: Last thing the team needs right now but on the plus, it could be an opportunity for either Tuanzebe (timely return) and/or Mengi to step up.
Bailly plays down any injury fears. https://www.manutd.com/en/news/deta...pdate-after-going-off-in-ivory-coast-friendly
Bailly may / may not be injured, but definitely some truth in this. We have seven CBs at this club and FOUR of them have injury issues (Bailly, Jones, Rojo and Tuanzebe). There is a major issue here and it has not been resolved..for years.— UtdArena (@UtdArena) October 8, 2020
Harry Maguire picked up a small injury (a slight tear) against Newcastle, but the #mufc medical team are hopeful that he’ll be back fit to play against Chelsea this Saturday [@JonathanShrager]— United Zone (@ManUnitedZone_) October 19, 2020
Feels a bit vague, can’t blame Ole for not giving much away I guess. Solskjaer on Greenwood, who trained at Carrington: 'I can't declare medical stuff can I? We hope it's just a niggle and we don't want to take any chances with him and hopefully at the weekend it'll be fine again.' #mufc— Samuel Luckhurst (@samuelluckhurst) October 19, 2020
Solskjaer says Eric Bailly is out for three or four weeks with a muscle injury. #mufc— Samuel Luckhurst (@samuelluckhurst) October 20, 2020
Good thing we bought some cover at RW. We'll be fine. Its not like our entire right flank is reliant on the fitness and form of a 19 year old striker with less than a season at the senior level with the only other real RW being a kid from a championship team that no other PL team wanted because hes not good enough. Because there's no way a BILLION dollar club would be that incompetent. Right? Right!
Ole confirms that Alex Telles has tested positive for COVID-19. We wish him a speedy recovery and a swift return to the group ❤️#MUFC pic.twitter.com/vrNAZLPScx— Manchester United (@ManUtd) October 28, 2020 That finally explains his absence, in the sense that he's not out with an actual injury (this is a guy who missed just 15gms in his career and is pretty durable). Question now is when he was diagnosed with the virus: probably won't be available until the Everton game at the earliest...
1325086656207220736 is not a valid tweet id Shame for Shaw who had a good game today. However, this was always likely with him given his history. It's Telles time after the break: that's why we've got him.
