I think Oden can develop some scoring just out of sheer athleticism. Maybe he has/had the potential for Howard-lite.
Throwing of the foam fingers was a touch of class. If I'm starting a team with players at their prime give me Derrick Fisher to run the point. Man hasn't lost his competitive fire.
That was a complete beatdown. After that 8-2 run from the gate and the last two mins of the second quarter Lakers looked absolutely clueless. I was very surprised that they got out hustled like that.
You can't not like Fish. Might be the number one King killer but the guy is a real professional. I'm more shocked that Utah even has fans. Ugh I'm still salty after last night's double overtime meltdown. Just a case of a young team needing to learn how to close out games.
Did you think it was a foul on Gasol on the last play of regulation? The announcers were wild on that (atleast before they saw it 12 times on replay) but I didn't think that was a foul really.
I can understand the Suns fans for hating Horry, for example, but hating someone for hitting a huge shot is stupid. Atleast I think so.
Nah I don't really think it was. Both players kinda bumped into each other. Incidental contact I suppose you could call it.
That's what I thought too. Kings really sucked after that 7-0 run. With some more experience they would have closed that one out.
Every time I see something like that I go youtubecrazy. Todays conclusion is as follows: Kobe has hit a ton of incredibly difficult shots that I've never seen Jordan hit. Jordan has more big shots, but he never hit the kind of sick stuff you've seen from Kobe through the years. He connects on things that's just not possible. I dare anyone to disagree and back it up.
Your probably right but other then the Heat shot that he banked in what other impossible shots are you talking about?
A MJ shot that always comes to mind is the one against the Lakers when he drives to the lane and switches the ball from one hand to the other while in mid air. Always thought that was very difficult.
I can think of a couple: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nH-0gLhqpJg"]YouTube- Kobe Bryant - Clutch shots vs. Portland trail blazers[/ame] Jordan wouldn't have hit either of those two. Last one he wouldn't even have gotten off before the buzzer. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hvCj89FwxkE&feature=related"]YouTube- Kobe Bryant Best Shot ever in his NBA Career 09/10 *Impossible Shot behind the backboard[/ame] I've never seen Jordan do that. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x-bPAENSGrs&feature=related"]YouTube- Kobe Bryant Hits the Improbable Jumper[/ame] Foul and a three? I wonder how many four point plays Jordan has. I bet you can count them on one hand. And none of them falling back like that.
No it wasn't. There was no one there to stop it. He could have and should just have dunked it. I've never understood why people think that one was so great. If he did it to beat a defender it would have been crazy. But it was just him and the basket.
