Re: New '08 MLS Team's Jerseys (pics) I think all but the FCD jerseys are questionable, but the DCU jersey is the only one without the MLS logo on the sleeve. I am almost positive that one is bunk.
Re: New '08 MLS Team's Jerseys (pics) Fans who should be happy if those fakes turn out to be real: New England Columbus DC Away Fans who should be unhappy Everyone else
Re: New '08 MLS Team's Jerseys (pics) Okay, I don't want to defend jade on this, but I saw those jersey's on Ebay Express the other day and started to ask about them/post pics of them over here to see if they were real or what. I think she just put them up here, because they were over there. When I first looked at them on Ebay, I said to myself "Wow! Those are really sh!tty fakes! The Crew shirt is pathetic and the DC unis just don't look "right"!" Then I came over here and saw this thread and thought, "Well, those might be the new ones, but how'd they get out on Ebay before they were even on the MLS site?"
Re: New '08 MLS Team's Jerseys (pics) there's more discussion than pics in this thread...More pics ...!!!!!!
Re: New '08 MLS Team's Jerseys (pics) Adidas please make those shoulder stripes blue and it will be perfect and I will buy one. And for ****s sake Chivas, get a 2nd kit that actually contrasts your first! I never want to see Toronto playing in grey at BMO again!
Re: New '08 MLS Team's Jerseys (pics) I will repeat this for emphasis. TFC must have told Chivas it was alright to wear red because Chivas does have a uniform for such cases when they clash with the home teams colors. Take it up with your FO.
Re: New '08 MLS Team's Jerseys (pics) You're wrong. Mark my words: These will be next year's jersies. I thought that these were bogus when I first saw them as well, but taken in the context of all of these other new kits for MLS teams I would have to say that this is what it's going to be. Nobody would go to so much effort to inot creating this many bogus kit ideas. And, no bootlegger would go to this type of effort to produce a replica of a jersey that doesn't exist. This is it. They suck, but that is what we will have to deal with.
Re: New '08 MLS Team's Jerseys (pics) Uh... no you can't. Buy a copy of Photoshop and then let's talk.
Re: New '08 MLS Team's Jerseys (pics) Ya you are probably right. MLSE would want Toronto to wear the greys at home to give them some exposure to the home crowd. Very MLSE of them. Its just part of what disappoints me about them as owners. They arent trying to create a soccer team with the same tradition of the Maple Leafs; Theyre just trying to create another way to rip off Toronto sports fans.
Re: New '08 MLS Team's Jerseys (pics) How dare you deprive my uncle Kai and his sweatshop workers! The Hmongs are not amused.
Re: New '08 MLS Team's Jerseys (pics) If these aren't shopped then they're the saddest excuse of professional uniforms in the history of sports.
Re: New '08 MLS Team's Jerseys (pics) They're soccer kits! What the heck do you want? All soccer kits, be it in MLS, Europe or South America, are all vile. They're supposed to stand out be shiny and garish. Be glad you didn't support Nottingham Forest in 1994/95 and be done with it. They look mostly fine to me, sensible colours and decent styles. I like the Adidas kits normally. Hey, the Crew kit is lovely.
Re: New '08 MLS Team's Jerseys (pics) Yes they would. I remember seeing many of these "authentic" pics floating around ebay with the supposed new Galaxy kits.
Re: New '08 MLS Team's Jerseys (pics) That and the Crew logo and we're halfway to the Village People. All we need now is a mustachioed cop and an Indian.
Re: New '08 MLS Team's Jerseys (pics) All the others with the exception of the one's the OP purchased and posted are fakes from China. Mark my words: You're a frigging idiot, and have no idea how the bootlegging industry works, especially when it comes to fake articles from China.
Re: New '08 MLS Team's Jerseys (pics) Really? What does it say about us? "We're the Revs; we have crayons and we are not afraid to use 'em"?
Re: New '08 MLS Team's Jerseys (pics) That's just their current kit; it seems to be something of trend recently for shirt manufacturerers to break the traditional stripes or hoops design in order to leave a solid color in back for numbers and names. Traditionally, the Reading hoops would go all the way around, too. And they probably will again, the next time Reading change kit designs. Anyway Reading isn't in MLS so who cares if FCD's away kit looks like theirs or not? I liked the grey and white road hoops. It was different.
