I got my first USSF badge in 2009. For the first time since then, I'm not currently registered as a soccer referee either for USSF or NFHS. I'm not sure if or when I will get back to refereeing. Even though I never rose above Grade 7/8 for USSF and I did mostly JV/MS for NFHS, I still consider my career to be successful by my standards. I credit a lot of my success to this board, and so I want to say to everyone - THANK YOU. Thank you to the posters (I won't name names because I'll miss someone) who patiently answered my questions, offered their differing views and even to those who asked if I was a real referee.

Even though I've often just lurked here and not posted a ton, I've learned a lot from your insights and I truly appreciate ya'll taking the time to share them.

Thank ya'll for your insights over the years.

There's two kinds of people: those who've reffed and those who haven't. Semper arbitros!

All the best in the next ventures! There’s always a spot for experienced officials somewhere.
