Speaking specifically of these "journalists", I bet the same grifters who love spreading hot takes about the MLS surpassing Liga MX are some of the same spreading doomsday rhetoric about one of our top players of the last decade moving there.

Call me crazy but I’m welling to bet #LAFC vs #LAGalaxy will get the most viewership in America of any game this season. Premier League, Liga MX, etc it will top them all.— MLS Moves (@MLSMoves) January 21, 2020
Wishful thinking. But nah, that ain't happening. Cheech isn't that big of a draw in viewership these days.
Jona Dos Santos and Uriel Antuña went to @MLS and improved their play and career. Nicolás Lodeiro continues to get calls from Uruguay, several players from Perú and other countries continue to get calls. He realizes he is leaving his prime, it’s seems to be more about that.— Roberto Abramowitz (@RobAbramowitz) January 23, 2020 JDS was an undisputed starter for a team that always hovered around the top 5 in La Liga and made the Europa League final, but sure MLS improved his play and career lmao.
2015 gold cup and 2017 confed cup apparently never happened for Jona. He was first spotted after debuting for LA.
These MMLS losers & spazzos talking smack are the main reason I don't like our players going there All of these Liga MX fans talking so bad about Chicharito is sad.He would’ve returned to Chivas but unfortunately for them the bigger club and league came calling. It’s alright to be a little jealous.LA will send him down to MX when he’s a little older like they did with GDS.— MLS Buzz (@MLS_Buzz) January 22, 2020
This is not made up. It is true. So about 4 years ago, I was in Argentina (used to live in South America) in the Bombonera for a tour. During the tour, they were talking about the history of the Boca Juniors club and stadium. They wanted the crowd to engage and started asking the tourists where they were from and who their club was. Yes, someone said Club America and everyone (Argentines and other South Americans) knew who the club was; I assume they were Liga MX fans or Mexicans themselves. They knew Cruz Azul and Chivas also. Someone there said "LA Galaxy" and no joke, the tour guide and the rest of the tourists were like "quien?".
... that El Tri would greatly improve its chances of WC success w/ more players at elite clubs. At what point is 🇲🇽’s best hope of getting talent to the top at club level related to MLS (and to a lesser degree Liga MX) become an elite league?— Tom Marshall (@mexicoworldcup) January 27, 2020 This dude sure loves sucking up to the MMLS. What is needed is the Liga MX getting back into the Copa Libs.
There is nothing in the world that yells MLS is at LigaMX level, NOTHING. In Latin America, South America and Europe, it is well known that MLS is below average and a retirement league. What about the below says the MLS is anywhere near on PAR with Liga MX? Nada. CONCACAF Champions cup and CONCACAF Champions League: Mexico - 34 USA - 2 Costa Rica - 6
There is MLS infiltration going around, there’s no other explanation to the journalists pushing it this hard
The MMLS nut riding from so called journalists is pathetic but not surprising Hell, look no further than Telemundo and Univision. This shit goes back at least 20 years. They still continue calling the Nads “el equipo de todos”
Can we finally win this damn tournament? My heart can’t take another upset. So close so many times. https://t.co/vxIOqxYrYO— MLS Moves (@MLSMoves) January 29, 2020 So close so many times. Hasn’t the MMLS only made like 3 finals in the last 20 years or so?
4, and only won once. Incredible that Costa Rica has gotten more CCL titles than them in the last 20 years, but yet they claim they're on par with Liga MX [emoji1787]

One or two of those players will become decent. The majority will be irrelevant in 4 years. If all players panned out as nads think, turkey and a lot of Eastern European countries would be world beaters right now.
