According to Goff, TFC is set to make a major announcement at 4:45 pm eastern and he says that Winter will be out as head coach. The TFC coaching carousel continues.

Re: TFC Major Announcement - Winter out? At any other franchise, this would be a major announcement. At TFC, it's like seasonal yard maintenance. De Klerk might as well be the boss, he does all the yelling on the sidelines while Winter pensively pouts.

I remember when they announcement came out that they were in it for the long haul and were going to build their academy system around Winter's vision. TFC fans insisted that MLSE seamed really sincere this time. What a joke. MLSE is going to milk as much money out of the TFC fans as they can for as long as they can, and the fans are going to let them.
Re: TFC Major Announcement - Winter out? Apparently Winter is staying on - he's just moving to a GM position. Oh yeah, and we're bringing in two DPs. So I don't think TFC is changing vision, just reshuffling job titles. And De Klerk (guy who will take over) has pretty much been the main man during training sessions. So maybe MLSE is taking TFC seriously after all.

Re: TFC Major Announcement - Winter out? For now. JDG won't be back after this season. There are even some rumblings that the knee injury that has cost him so much time over the past two seasons may end his career.
