Well, he has had a very good end of season performances, but Savio, Joaquin, Deco and Xavi have been more consistent, I think.... but I could admit a change in the bench: De la Peña for Ronaldinho...
It is the same case as for Ronaldo...good end of season, but.....

    Casillas
    Salgado
    Puyol
    Carlos
    Graveson
    Beckham
    Ronaldinho
    Deco
    Ronaldo
    Eto'o

i think that would be pretty strong line up but its hard to pick. But i would mostly combine barca and real only.....cuz they have best player in the league in all positions.

Em....I think you have a couple of mistakes....you have included Puyol, Ronni, Deco and Eto'o...who are not playing Real Madrid!!!!! :D

Seriously.....Valdes has the best rate of matches/goals....Roberto Carlos is at the end of his career, offering a display fo unnecesssary tackles, concentration slips, without assists.....; Gravesen....well....even Marquez has made a better job...Gravesen just can't play the ball, he is half a player!!...; Becks....really??...what has he done?...running without any objective is not a good thing in football  ; Ronaldo....an all season-long prize for a player that has played at his level only three months?????...you have to be kidding!!...Forlan or Oliveira have been more regular, I think...

lol there is no way that valdes and kameni are goalies of the year....this is the only unquestionable position in la liga. There is no better goalie then Casillas in the league....thats a 100%.

ya, valdes only has the best goals against avg

edit, also it is not about who is the best, it is about who does the best.

i see you havent seen much of valdes and casillas.......Barca has a very good defence, while real doesnt. Valdes is an amazing goal keeper...i have seen him play almost every weekend...same thing with casillas. Best goals against avg isnt all up to the goalie...its more about the defence. Casillas is best keeper in the league, def...if not in the world. Buffon and Casillas are up there in first along with dida.

So bro you get my point? If you counted all the sick saves caillas had and valdes....casillas would have like 2 times more or even 3 times more.

I see your point lad...but if we come to speak about savings in a desperate way...the best keeper of the competition must be Kameni. He his the goalie that makes the spectacular saves, incredible jumps....
So, if you want to decide which is the best keeper based on avg, Valdes. If you prefer to focus on the quality of the goalie by himself...Kameni, without doubts.
Ah...and i must say that I think Casillas is the best keeper in Spain..at least until the end of the following season...;)

I second that, Eto'o has most of his goals as penalties. Ronaldo and Forlan are the best center fowards in Spain, and it is because they are South American players. :D

So....as you see the best XI....it's useless being the champion.....since Barça has no players in it!!...Xavi or Deco have made a worse season that Yeste or joaquin????....

Riquelme, 15 goals, 8  pk!!
