He's not as good as his 1st and 2nd year, but he's been good. However tbh, I expect more from him. Yeah he got less assists then but he was far more explosive and dangerous throughout the game than he is now.

Expectations fluctuate in my opinion. Players change, teams change, circumstances change, etc. I try to evaluate performances/form in that context. That considered he has done well for me. Not thoroughly consistent but better than most of the team this year.

I don't like to compare situations to other players because each is unique and it can lead to the odd shouting match.

It's not but like I said, I compare and evaluate in context and Ribery stands out in his team this season despite those circumstances. I understand the standards he is held to though and that's why I expect him to be more consistent.

Gomez, Robben, and Ribey are our only 3 players that have lived up to their expectations. The rest of the team has not. That is why we are out of the CL, the DFB Pokal, and lie 3rd in the Bundesliga. Simple as that.

Muller didn't fare too bad actually. He scored some 16 goals and assisted around 12 - not bad at all considering he has been playing since last season non-stop. I think halfway through the season he was so fatigued he couldn't play anymore. I think our drawbacks lie mainly in defense, we can't rely on Gustavo, DVB, Badstuber and Breno (i wanted to shoot him when he gifted Eto'o that ball).

FC Bayern Munich statement

The FC Bayern München AG (FC Bayern) board of directors has issued the following statement regarding the situation with local rivals TSV München von 1860 GmbH & Co. KGaA (TSV 1860 Munich), and events which occurred last Saturday (2 April 2011) at the Bundesliga match against Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Regarding TSV 1860 Munich:

TSV 1860 Munich has current liabilities due to Allianz Arena München Stadion GmbH (a wholly-owned subsidiary of FC Bayern), arising from rental, advertising rights and operating costs, totalling €2.1m.

These could not be paid on the due date of 31 January 2011. Following negotiations, it was agreed that payment of the €2.1m would be deferred until 15 July 2011.

According to German company law, the FC Bayern board is obliged to act in a manner benefiting the club. Should substantial revenues threaten not to materialise due to a debtor filing for insolvency, the board is obliged to assist in preventing the insolvency, if this benefits FC Bayern. The same obligation applies to the FC Bayern supervisory board.

At the most recent supervisory board meeting on 28 February 2011, the FC Bayern board and supervisory board unanimously resolved, apart from deferral of the existing liability of €2.1m, neither to extend TSV 1860 Munich a loan, nor a debt guarantee, nor to invest in the club. This is in line with previous FC Bayern statements.

Regarding the insults and defamation directed at Uli Hoeneß:

We condemn events at the Bundesliga match last Saturday in the strongest terms. Anyone who knows Uli Hoeneß is aware that everything he undertakes is exclusively for the benefit of FC Bayern – including action which may prevent damage or injury to FC Bayern.

The board regards the insults directed at Uli Hoeneß as outrageous, intolerable and unacceptable. This behaviour is disrespectful to FC Bayern, its officials and all other supporters.

Bayern maintains a continuous dialogue and exchange of views with its fans, most recently around three hours prior to kick-off last Saturday, when the club convened the Fan Dialogue Working Group, established for this purpose in 2007, and representing 30 fan clubs and groups.

“We continue to be extremely irritated by the disgraceful events at the Allianz Arena,“ commented directors Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and Karl Hopfner, “this display of misconduct towards Uli Hoeneß is not FC Bayern’s style and will never be accepted. It is impossible to overstate Uli Hoeneß’s efforts and achievements, but they are being trodden underfoot here. We condemn this. It must never happen again in the future.“

More evil...keep the face value of the ticket exactly the same, but charge the Sudkurve an additional '1860 surcharge'.

Truly evil. Make them hand over the extra cash directly to Uli as they file in to take their seats. Uli can hand the bills directly to Nerlinger to put in a big blue and white bag.

Then KHR can reach back into the bag and taking out every third bill for rent before handing the rest over to the 1860 board to flush it down a toilet.

It's like a medieval mystery play.

Make it a seated area that will raise the prices anyway and this should also give the club a special termination right to cancel season ticket holder agreements in the Südkurve. Seated area or not no one will notice the lack atmosphere and support anyway as there is hardly one anyway
