Where is BW3 on Bethel Road? I tried to look it up on Mapquest and couldnt find it. I am coming from Dayton and I think this would be a cool thing to bring the kids to. Anyone been to one of these before? Do any of the starters show up?
Buffalo Wild Wings Take 70E to Columbus. 315 North towards Worthington. Exit on Bethel Road (Turn Left - Only direction you can go) Follow for a little over a mile. BWW will be on your right hand side of the road. In a strip mall along with a COSI and Texas Roadhouse.
There will be a number of other families around there, with a lot of picture taking and autograph signing. I myself will probably skip this thing, but I am not the demographic this thing was set up for. The BW3 in question is a non-smoking bar, so that's a plus. There will be a number of "non soccer" people there to drink, but it'd be no different than a Crew game. So, by all means, please feel free to stop by, let us know how you enjoy it.
The strip mall exists on the corner of Bethel Rd and Go Down Rd, it is on the northwest corner of the intersection. It's pretty tough to miss.
Depending on where you are coming from in Dayton, taking 35E over to I71 north, and exiting then on to 315N might be about 15 minutes faster. That's the way I go visit my folks, who live off of Indian Ripple Road in Beavercreek (by the new mall under construction).
I went and it seemed a good time was had by all. The place had a big crowd, the players took turn working as waiters. I chatted briefly with Chad, Duncan, Eric, Joel, Kei and Jacob. All were friendly. Sigi and Robert were eating in a side room so I didn't get a chance to ask them anything. Did anyone else get a chance to ask about new signings?
