These guys were invited for the game against Korea and now they are left out. Nosrati and Zare are invited again. What about the Zob-Ahan and Esteghlal defender? Zob-Ahan has allowed only 6 goals this year. Esteghlal has let in five (granted that they have played weaker opponents). Doesn't that say something about their defense? No it won't be cancelled. TEHRAN The Tehran tournament, that is due to take place between November 11-13, will take place without the usual LG moniker. The Iranian Parliament, or Majles, has ordered that the IFF cancel their existing sponsorship agreement with the South Korean electronics giant due to recent stances South Korea has taken against Iran in the international arena, mostly likely in the nuclear issues. The Iranian Football Federation has since stated that the tournament will take place with the original schedule. An alternative sponsor is being sought, and Iranol, the Iranian National Oil provider, is the most likely one to clinch the deal. IFF will foot the entire bill otherwise.
