Nasri has landed at the Eithiad today. On another note, the Social Media Presence of the club is tremendous. Do other clubs show signings showing up to sign the contract on twitter/facebook. It seems most just put out the traditional press release/shirt hold up photo.

Seydou Keita (31, Barcelona) and Juraj Kucka (24, Genoa) linked today as Mancini seems to want another midfielder to replace Vieira, but I'm not sure the club will sanction a move. Scott Parker and Daniele De Rossi also linked in recent days/weeks.

Not sure, Stuart Brennan in the Manchester Evening News said as much. As much as it seems like we have a stockpile of talent, we still lack the final touches of depth that United and Chelsea have. According to Brennan via Mancini, he feels City now have 22 players (excluding kids/reserves) compared to 24 at United and 27 at Chelsea. Mancini didn't include players like Bridge, Adebayor, and Bellamy who he no longer wants at the club but DID include Kolo and SWP, the latter of whom looks to be on his way.

With the Champions league, Carling Cup, FA Cup, and the hectic no real big winter break, one can not have enough depth.

I love how playing in a patsy league where no one ever tackles each other can allow you to field a team no more than 16 deep and still when every competition.

Honestly, those players we can't get rid off, those were Hughes' ideas. I don't think Mancini has bought a bad player other than Balotelli.

    Here are Hughes' stupid transfers

    Lescott
    Roque Santa Cruz
    Wayne Bridge

I didn't mind Bellamy and Adebayor, but we really didn't have to pay them high wages. We had to still pay their wages just to get rid of them.

Balotelli will never ever be a bad player. He is 20 years old. Take a chill pill.

When did Balotelli become a bad player? I must have missed that.

Pain in the ass? Maybe. Bad player? No. Pure comedy? Yes.

I would agree he's not as good as advertised and combined with his injury problems and character issues I don't see him that valuable.

I don't doubt his talent, but he's not right in the head. If he can't reach his potential, then he is considered a bad player.

He's 21. Is that the cap for reaching your potential?

Also, Lescott while way overpriced will be the starting CB alongside Kompany all season I don't see Kolo winning the starting job back. Lescott has been scoring headers and doing well after getting comfortable after Kolo's suspension last year.

we blew the Europa cup last season because of his red card. off the field he's also causing problems.

yes he is only 21 years old, but it seems that he is causing more issues on and off the field as he gets older, with no signs of improvement.

I hope he improves and reach his potential. I wouldn't say I've given up on him yet, but thus far, he's been nothing but trouble. So until I see improvement, he is a bad player as status quo.

Yes, it's unfortunate that Lescott is best we have right now. With his wages and transfer fee, we should have done better. However, at the time of his transfer to Citeh, we had to overpay players because we weren't title contenders or playing in the Champions League. Overpaying was the only thing we had. So perhaps I am being too harsh o Hughes. However, Moyes played Hughes for a fool. Most Citeh fans were crying not to go over 19 million pounds for Lescott, but Hughes paid 24 million I believe.

cfn, here's the quote that proves you're point:" I knew him at Inter when he was 17 and it was different. He was better when he was 17!" Bobby on Mario's mental state
