Folks some info about the tailgate for Chelsea

We are meeting at A75 for the tailgate. This is where the Hogettes tailgate and Fedex has no problem with us "reserving" space around there.

Barra, Eagles, La Norte, USBlues, travelling Chelsea fans. We have a fabulous tradiition hosting travelling fans for these friendlies and we've made some great friends over the years.

Gates for parking open at 4. I"m not sure of price but i bet high as ********. think $20 not $10.

As always Barra tailgates rely on sharing etc. I know many Blues fans have generously offered keg contributions and I'm assuming our members, despite the weeknight, will whip up a world class tailgate. as always, the Eagles have offered to contribute. we'll get some kegs, etc.

i believe we are expecting 50+ Blues and hopefully 100+ united folks if not many more.

i think we all want to show some solidarity with what happened in london

i'm planning to cruise by the stadium on the weekend and figure out the best route to a75 by both car and metro and any other intel to be got.

i'll post in this thread and include in barra mailing

Ticket price included parking so more money for beer and food.

For a tailgate this size with supply uncertainty, I am gonna do hot dogs -- bacon wrapped if there's time. That way I can bring beaucoup dogs. Grill space might be a problem, however. We'll deal with it.

I plan on bringing at least a small grill. I can bring dogs as well.
I'll be leaving early from work so as to be able to get way over there by 4pm, probably 2:30 or so.

Well I gotta go to COSTCO soon, so I'll pick up one or two of the big bags (50 count?) to get close to 50. I'll pick up buns (about 48) and probably about 3 lbs of bacon. Then some aluminum sheets (so we can cook and store). I've got a big squeeze bottle of yellow mustard.

If four of us pick up dogs and bacon, we should be able to feed about 150 or so. Scruggsie, Worm, Lonnie?

Whatever turns your juices on. The bigger the dog the longer the bacon needs to be.

If you folks are handling the grilling items then how about the SEs handle the sides/dessert stuff? If you need $ for grilling items though let me know (I'll bring a package of veggie dogs for us heathens unless someone can pick up, I'll take mine without bacon unless that's veggie too! :p ) The SEs have plans for one keg, (how many total do we need?) If you think we need more, let me know and we can either bring or again, wecan put up some money (I just needs receipts back, copies are fine).

Hey folks. It's me, your friendly ambassador from the US Blues. Apologies for not chiming in here sooner, as work has been keeping me fairly busy.

I'll post back here later today, with the details from the Chelsea contingent. :D

Here's a larger parking map of Fedex

I don't see an A75, however I surmise that it's in one of the A parking lots (southwestern side of Fedex).
