is there any open cup possibility left for this year? where do i sign up to replace those annoying video commentators?
Nope. The Tide have yet to qualify in their three years of existence. They seem to get it together about 4 matches in, which by then is too late, as cup counters are very early. www.TacomaFC.com
Tacoma Weekly talks with Tide goalkeeper Jordan Jennings: http://tacomaweekly.com/article/2098/ As a side note, one of the best soccer photos I've ever taken is used on their front page! See the pdf version here: http://tacomaweekly.com/images/frontpages/twb7308.pdf

Good luck against Yakima this weekend - it would be nice to see Tacoma in the playoffs again. I got to spend some time with Fran O'Brien and Mike Jennings at the playoffs in Fresno last summer, and they couldn't have been friendlier, so I always like you guys to do well. It's always encouraging to see teams like Tacoma succeeding: strong and competitive on the field, super nice off it. Jon San Fernando Valley Quakes
Tacoma-6 Yakima-2! We'll have video and photos and a report up soon, but for now we are just reporting the great final score. Tacoma Tide FC outscored the Yakima Reds 3-1 in each half to add up to a resounding 6-2 victory and a berth in the 2008 PDL playoffs. More to come.
If I'm reading the tiebreaker rules right, the Tide just won their first division title! http://goalseattle2.blogspot.com/2008/07/tacoma-6-yakima-2-tide-are-playoff.html
