T&T needs to play well if they want to use this cup as a step to the World Cup... at any rate im taking Honduras 2-0
I think Honduras will take it 1-0, or by any other score with a single goal difference. --- when the game is being played, can updates be posted here?---- Thanks
If T&T shows the grit and tactical savvy it did against Mexico, this will be a tough game for Honduras. I can't see Beenhakker letting them backslide too much, even with lesser players.
Trinidad in red, Honduras in white. It still amuses me to see a white guy playing for Trinidad, Chris Birchall. He plays for Port Vale in England, and they found he had roots in Trinidad. He played pretty well against Mexico, so I'll be watching out for him tonight (plus I can tell who he is easily ). MLS guys Ivan Guerrero and Avery John are starting.

anyone else notice that Honduras foul lots more than T&T? i dont think T&T has one foul yet...they are just a lot more fluid but less aggressive
Nice crowd who are making a lot of noise. 21st minute, Trinidad misses a glorious chance right in front of goal.
For anyone who doesn't know, ESPN is doing a gamecast off of this page: http://soccernet.espn.go.com/match?id=186477&cc=5901 I'm liking the updates here, though, much better interpretation of what's going on instead of "So and so fouls" or "So and so shoots"
GK: Shaka Hislop, Kelvin Jack (Dundee FC/SCO), Daurance Williams (San Juan Jabloteh); DF: Marvin Andrews (Glasgow Rangers/SCO), David Charles (W Connection), Cyd Gray (San Juan Jabloteh), Emery John (New England Revolution/USA), Dennis Lawrence (Wrexham FC/ENG), Anton Pierre (Defence Force), Brent Sancho (Dundee FC/SCO), Glenton Wolffe (North East Stars); MD: Christopher Birchall (Portvale FC/ENG), Carlos Edwards (Wrexham FC/WAL), Angus Eve (San Juan Jabloteh), Brent Rahim (Falkirk FC/SCO), Silvio Spann (Yokohama FC/JPN), Densill Theobald (Caledonia AIA/ITA), Aurtis Whitley (San Juan Jabloteh); AT: Cornell Glen (Columbus Crew/USA), Stern John (Coventry FC/ENG), Kenwyne Jones (Stoke City FC/ENG), Colin Samuel (Dundee FC/SCO), Jason Scotland (Dundee United/SCO). They have a lot of guys in Scotland for some reason.
Birchall who I mentioned earlier, scores a sensational goal from outside the area and Trinidad lead 1-0. Maybe if they showed a freakin' replay I could better describe it to you.
And just like that Honduras misses a great chance to equalize, Turcios (?) open in the box and shoots wide right.
Yeah...replay. Maybe even in slow-motion. I hear they've got the technology now. Maybe halftime. Who is this Birchall lad, anyway?
It's too bad Trinidad didn't hire Beenhakker at the beginning of the hex, because they look like a totally different team recently.
Re: webcast Great save from Jack to keep Trinidad in front. Honduras need to do better in front of goal. 39th minute.
