Hopefully Szetela will see more playing time in this game. They need to win this game to cut the gap between them. Brescia are currently in sixth with 44 pts and Pisa are in fourth with 49 pts, which is one less than current leaders Bologna. Here is the roster.

Both clubs are in good form. Brescia is unbeaten in 7 league matches and Pisa is unbeaten in 13.

I really like the way Serie B works in regards to promotion/relegation..

    From Wiki:
At the end of the season , three teams are promoted to Serie A and four teams are relegated to Serie C1. The top two teams are automatically promoted. If the 3rd-placed team is 10 or more points ahead of the 4th-placed team, it too is automatically promoted, otherwise the 3rd through 6th-placed teams enter a playoff tournament to determine the other team that will be promoted.

If the playoff conditions exist, the first round pairs the 3rd-placed team vs the 6th-placed team and the 4th-placed team vs the 5th-placed team in a double-leg series with the higher classified team having home-field advantage in the 2nd leg. The team with the higher aggregate score moves on to the second round. If at the end of regular play in the second leg an aggregate tie exists, the higher classified team moves on (the away goals rule is not used).

The two winners then play in a two-legged 'final' under a similar format with the higher-classified team at home in the second leg. The only difference being that if an aggregate tie exists at the end of regular play in the second leg, extra time is played. If the two teams are still tied after thirty minutes, the higher classified team is the one promoted.

Is Szetela on the bench again? What are his chances of getting some significant minutes?

According to Livescore, Brescia is up 1-0 in the 82nd minute after a 1st half goal from Paraguayan defender Victor Hugo Mareco.

I haven't been able to track down a lineup though

LiveScore has Brsecia up 1-0 in the 84st minute courtsey of Mareco goal in the 39th minute. No indication as to whether Danny was playing. Just posted a score.

Looks like he came on for De Zerbi in the '77 min.

1-0 was the final. That's a good win for them because Pisa was 4th. They stay in 6th but now they have a 7 point cushion over the 7th spot. They still have a game in hand so a win there would move them to 3rd.

Great to hear they're doing well, and equally so that Danny is already getting in games. Seems like he made a very good move for himself, especially if they get promoted. Hopefully Benny sees what's happening with Danny and makes a similar move.

Yeah, we all freak out when a Yank plays in a Second Division, but at least Szetela is getting some minutes now. Compare him to Feilhaber; I would much rather him be starting at Maccabi Tel Aviv than riding the pine at a no account team like Derby.

If the line-up diagram and play-by-play in that matchtracker are correct Szetela came on for De Zerbi who was playing attacking mid in Brescia's 3-5-2 formation. Not too much to go on (diagram could be inaccurate, Szetela could have been purely a defensive sub, etc..) but that won't stop us from speculating!

Here's another box score / summary from Gazzetta dello Sport. Not sure if it really adds anything new or not:

Any idea regarding Danny's involvement in the goal? It can't hurt that they scored shortly after his entry into the game.

The matchtracker shows the only goal being scored at 40' in the first half.
