Week 17 is next to the last week of the year. Basel has a UEFA Cup game this week. Will it affect their play against the Hoppers? Sunday's games:

    Xamax - Thun
    Schaffhausen - Servette
    Young Boys - Zürich
    St. Gallen - Aarau
    Grasshoppers - Basel

    MY PICKS:
    Xamax 1-1 Thun
    Schaffhausen 2-1 Servette
    Young Boys 2-1 Zürich
    St. Gallen 2-1 Aarau
    Grasshoppers 1-2 Basel

    Xamax 1-2 Thun
    Schaffhausen 0-2 Servette
    Young Boys 2-2 Zürich
    St. Gallen 1-1 Aarau
    Grasshoppers 3-1 Basel

Despite Basel's Uefa Cup victory I have a really good feeling about Sunday. GC dominated Thun away from home and I am still not convinced that Basel are over their crisis. The time has come for revenge (that 8:1 still stings me endlessly)

Lots of room for differing opinions. We have no results in common.

A tie was more than deserved for GC. Friggin unbelievable....it's like there is a spell on us when we play Basel...

A very shocking scene happened in the Challenege League today. After Sion only managed to tie Kriens (late penalty equalizer), Sion president Christian Constantin was part of the mob who attacked the ref!!!

It looks like were down to the three of us with my picking the StGallen 2-1 victory over Aarau as the play of the week.
