http://www.atlantasilverbacks.com/pro/index.php?id=12 Mattias Schnorf, formerly of F.C. Winterthur has joined the Atlanta Silverbacks of the NASL (2nd Division USA, sort of).
N'Kufo and Seattle have parted ways. Seattle bought out his contract of $335,000 to free up salary cap space. http://sports.yahoo.com/mls/news;_ylt=AuoiPzwdY1jDlnu.Buw51UikvrYF?slug=ap-sounders-nkufo “We went over different things and it was just a mutual decision that it was probably good to move on at this stage,” Schmid said. “It wasn’t working in terms of his situation, our situation, but it was very mutual. There were no problems, there were no issues, there was no problem with professionalism. He’s a very professional player and a quality player, but after we met we realized it was probably best to move on.”
Interesting. That is where his family is ... it would make sense. He has been pretty open about this being his final season.
Inler and Derdiyok scored this weekend Chiumiento had two assists and Hassli scored twice as Vancouver beat Stefan Frei's Toronto 4-2
Frei and TFC lost at home 0-3 to DC United. One of the goals might have been Frei's fault. During the broadcast the announcers mentioned that Alan Stevanović, was born in Switzerland. He currently plays for TFC on loan from Inter Milan by way of Torino. It looks like he has opted for Serbia, and it is questionable if he could even qualify for a Swiss passport/citizenship. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alen_Stevanović
I came across these as well: Junnosuke Schneider - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Junnosuke_Schneider Ryan Wuest - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ryan_Wuest Kwaku_Nyamekye - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kwaku_Nyamekye
Djourou had his comeback, Ziegler was only on the bench, Inler with a great goal, Berardi with an own goal, Ben Khalifa on the bench...
Oops, maybe I should look at the list again. Inler's goal is here: http://sports.yahoo.com/soccer/blog...bu8y.0V2cZq6DO3BX44414?urn=sow-wp984#comments
Inler still in very good shape and Abdi back in the team ... thx to Marcel Koller who helped them as mental coach http://www.tagesanzeiger.ch/sport/fussball/Marcel-Koller-macht-die-Psyche-von-Inler-und-Abdi-stark-/story/14907656 Koller himself is in talks with St.Pauli
http://www.tribalfootball.com/artic...man-utd-servette-prospect-kevin-mbabu-1596691 Kevin Mbabu is on trial with Arsenal and Man U.
Senderos comeback as Fulham win 3-0 Bunjaku had a bad comeback with the reserves as he got red carded
there are also two players in which Palermo are interested. One is Kamber, the other I forgot (U-17?). remember they were also interested in Ben Khalifa and Seferovic anyway, they better stay in Switzerland and play 2 or 3 seasons in the superleague first. then, those who went abroad, they shall fight to win their places in the first team with good showings in the trainings and the reserves
Rolf Feltscher had his first appearance from the start with Parma and Dzemaili had an early goal in the same match
other Swiss players could use a mental coach as well… Often, they're not very competitive while abroad. Sometimes, they are considered as "small swiss", but still some fight more for their places than others. Hope all fight to win a place in the starting XI besides, Koller is maybe presented as St.Pauli coach this week
P Schwegler and Frankfurt also demoted. For me he could stay with Frankfurt and help them up again, we're not really desperate on central midfield in the NT and with the form of Dzemaili this spring Schwegler would only be my 4th or 5th choice anyway. Ziegler should definitely stay in the Serie A, Padalino should move to Lugano if their promoted.
Ziegler very close to Juve. Lichtsteiner could also be on the move, Juve and Man City keeping tabs on him.
Favre saved Gladbach and Djuric and Rodriguez are linked to Gladbach Vonlanthen is not getting a new contract Seferovic gave his debut, but probably moving (to YB??)
