The R's were knocked out of this competition by Orient at this stage last season. Can Dowie and co. do better?

See the excellent match preview at loftforwords.co.uk and the match preview on the official site.

Rowlands is still suspended. Vine and Buzsaky are still injured. Ephraim should be available after suffing with shin splints. Stewart and Di Carmine return from suspension.

Former Ranger Pat Kanyuka plays for Swindon now, but will miss out with a hamstring injury.

[R] in this thread for all Carling Cup games on Tuesday and Wednesday.

You can have seven on the bench, rather than five, in League Cup play.

    Here are the lineups:

Swindon Town: Brezova, Smith, Timlin, Aljofree, McGovern, McNamee, Casal, Nalis, Paynter, Morrison, Cox.

Subs: Smith, Easton, Joyce, Kennedy, Peacock, Allen, Amankwaah.

QPR: Camp; Delaney, Stewart, Gorkss, Connolly; Cook, Leigertwood, Parejo, Ledesma; Blackstock, Balanta.

Subs: Cerny, Agyemang, Bolder, Ramage, Alberti, Di Carmine, Ainsworth.

According to the offish, Delaney is wearing the armband.

Former DC United striker Kasali Yinka Casal is in the Swindon team. He signed for them last week.

The Rs are wearing the third shirt (black) tonight. After a slow start, sounds like they're getting forward now. Away fans sounding good too.

Chance for Swindon, cleared away for a Swindon header. Shot in - tipped over by Camp.

    Come on Rs, tighten up!

It's a wild, wide open match. I think there have been about 7 or 8 corners. "One of the best games I've seen in a long time" says the Radio Wiltshire commentator.

No, and since it's the Swindon announcers, they're not really paying attention to that. They just can't believe how fast paced the match is - can barely keep up.
