Sept 20 is now "Support Colin Clark Night" Damn I'm happy to see Jeffries go. I finally have something to cheer about at Dragon Stadium! I don't know thing one about Coach Clark, although I heard a good interview on Inside Soccer tonight. But I'm ready to welcome him as the wind of change he brings to this once proud franchise. I don't care if we get ripped by Chicago, it may be a foregone conclusion, like against San Jose. But I'm ready to throw my support behind the new man at the helm - and the friggin' DALLAS BURN!!!!!!! I haven't racked out my voice in over a month - now is the time. Anyone who can make it early swing by the Inferno tailgate (in the woods) and let's get plenty liquored up so we can get primed to lay some smack down on the biiiiiiiiiiiiiaaaches known as the Fire! Oh fvck those guys! I wonder if Razov still remembers "I kiss goal post" ? Go. Colin, Go!!!
Great idea, sweeper. But if you make any signs, remember to spell his last name right. It's Clarke, not Clark.
Good idea sweeper! Colin deserves all the support he can for the remaining season. I wish him and the team the best. Let's give him his honeymoon just like we did jeffries and if he's not the one let's get someone who is!
Absolutely. Support Colin Clarke and the players. Its not their fault we play at the Lizard. NEVER SAY IT'S OVER NEVER SAY THE END ANYTIME YOU STOP, JUST START AGAIN NEVER SAY GIVE UP NEVER SAY GIVE IN YOU ALWAYS HAVE TO FIGHT TO WIN
The firing of MJ has made me even more pissed to be missing this game. Make sure you guys give the team a great lift.
No worries and there will be a kilt present. Say does anyone have the Northern Ireland flag? If so,how about bringing it to the game. Wave someflags in support.
OK. Here's a "dumb" question for you guys. Do we pronounce Colin Clarke's first name "Cawlin", as in Colin Farrell, or do we pronounce in "Cohlin", as in Colin Powell? I'm guessing Cawlin, but I wasn't 100% sure.
I read a great quote from Ali Curtis about how professional athletes should support their coach, and I thought it might fit in on this thread: "As professional athletes we don’t make the decisions as to who’s the coach. And whoever’s the coach, we need to put our faith and belief in him and do whatever he says and have that belief that he’s going to lead us to success,” Curtis said. “So Colin is our head coach right now, he’s our leader and he’s going to organize us and we’re going to do what he asks of us. Hopefully we’ll continue to get positive results like we did tonight" from http://www.mlsnet.com/content/03/90min0922chidal.html Ali Curtis = class
