We won the other day while I was dressed in a suit after cutting out from work. Now we play on a non-work, watch party day, and I have my brand new bomb-pop jersey sitting there, beckoning me. I don't want to ruin it for us. Maybe wear the bomb-pop over the suit? Need advice.
I've been known to switch up jerseys if we look like we're playing crappy. So maybe bomb-pop under suit, then suit off at the first hint of crappy play.
I couldn't watch the game live, didn't get home until a little before 8 pm Pacific time that night, obviously after avoiding the score for around 7 hours I was in a rush so I just stopped and grabbed McDonald's on the way home (I eat McDonald's for anything other than breakfast maybe once a year, but it was on the way and quick)--I don't have to eat McDonald's again tomorrow do I?? If it matters this was hours after the game took place, although I didn't yet know the score.
I haven't shaved since the Azerbaijan game. I grow a crappy beard, but still holding on since we haven't lost since that game.
Sounds like you don't need to eat the McDonald's But on the negative side you definitely are not allowed to watch the game live
You shouldn't be superstitious. It's bad luck. (Can't claim credit on that. It's supposedly from Yogi Berra)
Sounds like it. I wore my 2014 primary to the Azerbaijan game and wore it for the other warm-ups that I watched at home. I wore my AO shirt to the Ghana game. Which do I rock? Note, there will also be a flag bandana, USA scarf, and flag worn as a cape.
Wear the suit! I made a mistake and lost a bet, so I had to start growing a mustache on Sunday. I look horrible with a mustache. Now I look like I walked off of an 80s porn set is what I get told but I can't shave it because it brought us luck. Please don't let my mustache be in vain.
But wear a tie, as if the BP were a normal dress shirt. It's what the gentlemanly US soccer fanatic would do.
