It's all very pre-season right now. Glad we have this tune up before it starts for real at the weekend. Glad tuchel is giving the england/italy lads a bit longer to recover from their long tournament.
Alonso and Ziyech both excellent - and more than anything, it’s their effort and attitude that have been key. Much improved from Ziyech vs last season. Jorginho comes on and Villarreal have targeted him since minute 1. He has lots to offer but the man is a defensive liability. Stop pointing at other players, do your job.
I say we are in preseason form but jorginho already in regular season form with that no look pass straight to the other wosde creating something from nothing.
The fact that they're going down with cramp goes to show just how much effort they're putting into this!
We're not sharp enough. Villa have had more pre-season than us and better fitness levels at this point.
