Looking thru the sports of our only Sunday paper today, expecting a pre-game article on today's Rapids game and found nothing! Closer inspection found a letter to the editor complaining about lack of Rapids coverage. Their response was obvious, with absolutely no coverage. Now, I don't mind being second to baseball, football, even basketball, but when the sports section has an article on the WNBA championship and nothing on our local professional soccer team, well, that's saying something to me. Hence, I cancelled my subscription to the Sunday post and have sent a letter to the editor. For me, it's the lack of coverage of a local team in favor of coverage of other, even less popular sports that I find disgusting. It really does make me suspicious of an anti-soccer media conspiracy!
good job burmm. Part of the reason why I haven't subscribed to the rags here in town. They have nothing going on, and generally seem to pull crap out of their arses.
