Amazing. He only has 5-7 years to hit BPL, Bundesliga, Series A, La Liga, then MSL. He better get cracking

Come on, let's not be mean, Suk Hyun Jun or Seol Ki Hyun, that's almost the same : Both are strikers, their name contains 'hyun' and there is only a twelve year age gap between the two :D

whoever it is, reaffirms hero status first extracting suk from desert, and now hungary and moving him up the league ladder (albeit not club ladder).

from the little info i have, wage was the issue.. thus the delay in the transfer. it is possible Korean agent was just bluffing/threatening FC Porto... as if Suk was willing to just sit out for 6 month (maybe a yr) & collect paycheck.

i doubt he will be happy when shin taeyong weeds him out of the national team rotation

Don't know why such a thing would happen. He is one of our most talented players atm, he plays in a team which is performing better than most of Korean team in ACL and he is the league best player.

nam taehee has underperformed for the national team repeatedly and shin taeyong knows

using 4231 as the standard 3 is probably the only spot at the moment where theres any kind of depth at the moment

With his wage and reputation over there, I don't blame him for that

He's been unimpressive as a winger. In the CAM position, we also have KBK, LJS, KJC and KCH, so yeah I think we have the depth. But he's a decent squad player and if he can show what he does for Lekhwiya, I'd give him another chance for sure. But we don't know yet if STY will stick to 4-2-3-1. Maybe there's no position for him anyway.

Ah, yeah on the FW position, there is a bigger hole. We don't really have a classical 9. We have the HHC/LKH/LJH(Ulsan) type and KSW type (plus LSW type if he'd be able to play regularly for Hellas).
SHJ could - if he ever gains his form back - take the spot that LDG currently has.

Personal opinion but I don't think Shin TY rates him. He can do well w/ Troyes, could even force a return to KNT by scoring in double digit in Ligue 1 but I doubt he will have much opportunity under Shin TY.

I was speaking of NTH lol
But to answer you, I sincerely don't know what STY might thinks of SHJ. All I notice is that he was picked as wild card for the Olympics and that Korea cruelly lacks of strikers atm

ahh, NTH. posted in NT thread but I think he will get dropped soon & be replaced by Moon CJ. as for Suk, yea.. picked for wild card but Shin TY didn't use him. i think Suk was more of KFA pick than Shin TY pick for the wild card. he was playing for FC Porto & the public was supporting for his inclusion.

edit - not to mention, Shin TY wanted a veteran defender before finally selecting Suk HJ for the Olympics.

He called up a has-been who should have retired years ago and a little boy stuck in a 6'5 body. This guy is no better than Stielike.
