Red card for Boselli too, Estudiantes players very much lost it after Inter scored.

Well it's over. Inter adds a different cup to their case.

its too much for the footballers. the best futbol is played without 90 minutes. I thought they got rid of it after the Liga-flu copa libs final. Imagine playing 30+ minutes in the altitude of Bolivia, Peru, Chile, Ecuador or colombia?

they should go back to the old way, ida, vuelta..si esta emapatado 48 hours later they play a whole other game ...that is they way it was and the way it shoudl be so both teams play at full strength and never pks

well, underserved if you only look at the 2nd half. Inter dominated 1st half, Estudiantes dominated 2nd half. Thus, it was not really underserved.

you said the magic word... "brazilian streams".

FOX is not argentine... its supposed to serve the whole latin america, isnt it? You expect it to be biased towards latin american teams (like, lets say, in matches against clubs or national teams from other continents).

You dont expect it to be biased pro Argentina.

If ARGENTINE channels are biased pro Argentina, thats expected and FULLY ACCEPTABLE.

The bias is because of the Argie-Braz rivalry. Plus, Fox Sports doesn't broadcast to Brazil anyway (and even if they did, the would have to put Portuguese-speaking commentators) so they know they can get away with the bias. If Estudiantes was playing say Olimpia, they would had been a little bit less biased.

Too bad I missed this match. The news reports say it was a war, worthy of an old-school Libertadores match between Brazilians and Argentines.

Argentine fans: how good is Veron right now? How far has he fallen from his solid form of the 2002 World Cup qualifiers?

It was a great game, a typical BrasilXArgentina. It was a very close game, worth of a final. I think for the very first time these competition had a decent end. Estudiantes gave Inter a challenge and Inter was able to take it all.

That isn't confirmed yet, in December 19th this would be known.

Probably when the final is held in 2 legs it doesn't make much sense to go into extra time, maybe they should leave that if it was a single match at a neutral place, but whatever, i don't think that it "didn't work out".

Still good showing of Inter throught most of their matches.

I'd say Estudiantes took control of the game in the last 10 or 15 minutes of the first half... Inter had stopped attacking as deeply and started to look rather lethargic. At this point Estudiantes created some of their best chances.

Either way, I made the mistake of not considering the first game in La Plata. Inter did look better there and they finally woke up in ET... overall, they deserved to win it. Also, Nilmar is a monster... to bad he wasn't all there last night.
