Re: Miami FC thread Notes Where can I watch Miami FC games on TV? I want to see y'all now that you picked up Edwin Miranda...
Re: Miami FC thread Notes Thanks drSoFlaFan and river. It's actually not bad quality for a free thing.
Re: Ft Lauderdale Strikers thread Notes http://www.strikers.com/index.php?id=111&newsid=1676 Andy Herron.
Re: Ft Lauderdale Strikers thread Notes Actually I disagree. We already have small forwards on this roster. Nunez for one, and, well, at least for the moment Shriver. I'm hearing that is goign to change imminently though, so maybe Herron is to try and replace him. Something tells me the roster changes for the Strikers aren't anywhere close to being over...
Re: Ft Lauderdale Strikers thread Notes By the way, can we get the Miami FC crappola off the main page of this forum already???
Re: Ft Lauderdale Strikers thread Notes Andy Herron was a great player just a few years ago in MLS. If he can produce anywhere near this, its an addition to the Strikers. And I've already told the super mods, they said they were working on it. Your welcome.
Re: Ft Lauderdale Strikers thread Notes Thanks Prime! I thought about adding something funny about Grimlock, but decided I'm already a big enough nerd posting on soccer forums all the time....LOL

Re: Ft Lauderdale Strikers thread Notes Ok, it's been a very quiet off season for the Strikers. Compared to everything the club did last offseason it's been eerily silent this year. So what's going on down there? How are season ticket sales going? Where are they playing this year? I've seen hints that it's the polo grounds. Are they promoting the team much locally this year? We saw a lot of promotional activity last year! Finally, what's going on with ownership? Traffic still owns the team, but I keep reading that this might be changing. Who are the rumored people or groups that are possible new owners for the team? I'm sure several of the Striker Likers know what's going on so please share what you know or are hearing!
Re: Ft Lauderdale Strikers thread Notes New signing! Midfielder Alfonso Motagalvan http://www.nasl.com/index.php?id=3&newsid=1697
Re: Ft Lauderdale Strikers thread Notes The Red Bulls sprinkled in a few more trialiasts to the Mexico leg of training camp, keeper Matthew Glaeser, Leobardo Alvarez and defender Ray Yeboah. With only newly-signed Jeremy Vuolo and second-round draft pick Ryan Mera as goalkeepers on the roster, GM Erik Soler has said he planned to bring in at least one trialist at the position. Matt Glaeser is a 26-year-old Virginian who has been playing for the Fort Lauderdale Strikers in the North American Soccer League. After playing for Finnish third division club Pallo-Iirot in 2009, he spent most of the next year as the backup to ex-Red Bull Caleb Patterson-Sewell at Miami FC of the USSF Division 2 Prof League, before moving on to Ft. Lauderdale.
Re: Ft Lauderdale Strikers thread Notes Wow, great for Matt, but another huge loss for us if he should really impress and they want to sign him to a loan.....
Re: Ft Lauderdale Strikers thread Notes http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs...alists-roster/2012/02/06/gIQA89rDuQ_blog.html Reserve players from MLS could up end really changing the dynamics of NASL rosters. These are the type of elite talented young players NASL clubs normally wouldn't have access to. Shanosky could emerge as one of the top players in the league and cost the Strikers very little in 2012 compared to the signing of a MLS cast off or unknown player of dubious quality from abroad. Since the NASL and MLS have no formal agreement at this time, it is up to the individual clubs to seek these loans.
