    GOAL: Steamers 8-7 Storm

Apple scores just after the power play expired. Storm will have to come back for the sixth time.

OOH! Alvarez hits the underside of the crossbar and the ball bounces straight down.

Storm calls timeout with 1:39 to go.

32 of 50 goals allowed by the Storm have come against Central division opponents.

6th attacker on for the Storm (Marojevic).

Alvarez is having the worst luck as he has another shot cleared off the line.

FULL TIME: St. Louis Steamers 8-7 Chicago Storm

The Steamers move into first place as they hold back the Storm. A sixth equalizer was simply not in the cards for the Storm tonight as their three-game winning streak comes to an end.
