MetroStars: Diallo may be out for rest of season

After a brief reprieve, the MetroStars season is slowly slipping away again, and now they may have to play the rest of the regular season without their leading scorer.

Mamadou Diallo, tied for eighth in the league in scoring with 28 points, suffered a high left ankle sprain in a first-half collision with Galaxy defender Danny Califf in Saturday night's 3-0 loss at Los Angeles and is expected to miss two to four weeks. The season ends Sept. 21...

    Blah blah blah....

Could have Diallo been our "secret plan" last nite? Lull the opposition into a sense of security and then slip Diallo in when no one was looking?

The injury was so severe, Big Mama forgot that he's not allowed to pass and only shoot.

    Worked out OK I'd say.

Yep, Its dated 9/03. I think they used the mojo and a magic sponge and fixed him up real good.

Either that or they threated to cut him if he didn't stop whinning.

Last night had to be the Miracle of ALL Miracles! After nearly having to have his leg amputated less than a week ago, Mr. Mama amazingly appears in the second half of the game - with no sign of injury. The man must be a magician.
