As a card-carrying traditionalist fuddy-duddy, it does my heart good to hear any reference to LP records.

Fair warning on the jibberish line...I may be forced to go on a major thread bumping spree if this madness doesn't cease and desist.

Now my Italian side is bruised.... You really didn't want to do that.

We're just trying to show you the love. And my Italian side always says we're lovers, not fighters.

    :( :( :(

    I am not the show.

The show is on the field between the white lines.

    Your admiration belongs there.

    I am merely an accessory.

The show is on the field, and in the announcer's booth, and in the Casbah, and everywhere else that anyone is working for the success of the Earthquakes.

    This sounds way too familiar.

    Shouldn't this have said...
Crash Davis: It's time to work on your interviews.
Ebby Calvin LaLoosh: My interviews? What do I gotta do?
Crash Davis: You're gonna have to learn your clichés. You're gonna have to study them, you're gonna have to know them. They're your friends. Write this down: "We gotta play it one day at a time."
Ebby Calvin LaLoosh: Got to play... it's pretty boring.
Crash Davis: 'Course it's boring, that's the point. Write it down.

    Come on Bill...

You've got to give some kudos to the Ultras, too.

Crash was into boring...remember "strikeouts are boring and besides that they're fascist. Throw some ground balls. It's more democratic."

    William Blake?

Anyone else watching the US v Cuba Gold Cup match? Davis is playing fairly well.

Why'd Bruce take Brad out and leave Dempsey in? Dempsey can't hit the side of a barn.

He had a strike that hit wide left early in the game.

The cross to Dempsey was pretty good also, should have been a goal.

I think we'll have to call him Clint Over-theTop Dempsey from now on, how many sitters did he miss?

He missed at least four shots on goal. On one of his shots, the Cuban gk looked like Stevie Wonder in goal, but Dempsey put it outside to the right of goal.

I think he needs to take lessons from Tyrone Marshall.

I was trying to go with the Fins tune.

He shoots to the left, shoots to the right....

And that's as far as I can get. I'm tired as heck this morning. :(
