I hate seeing this. Not what you want it or need in downtown. A successful business being forced to close in the city. So much for the team named "City" actually being pro-city. https://www.ksdk.com/article/news/l...lding/63-0495fa15-f88c-4386-9b06-1e2e064d7192

Hi, native St. Louisan (only my first 5 yrs but multi-generations from South City) My parents were in the same HS class as Harry Keough at Cleveland) Been a DC United fan since the beginning in 96. Was in StL Labor Day weekend and saw the stadium. I'm excited for you guys and i hope to come back for a game some time. You'll have a better stadium than us and probably a better team too.
Not the start for the stadium you want to see, but at least there is plenty of time to correct prior to the big team taking the field. https://www.stltoday.com/sports/soc...cle_8c864980-0d76-5a98-a3a6-86127cdbd008.html
Team just announced the first group of local restaurants to be featured in the the stadium concessions. https://www.saucemagazine.com/a/59974/st-louis-city-sc-announces-first-local-restaurants-that-will Nice that they are focusing on local restaurants instead of generic concessions.
Stadium still has partial power only. Maybe this weekend..... https://www.stltoday.com/business/l...cle_43439f58-4d79-5d56-810f-b906d6fa8ab5.html
I went to the game last night Beautiful place Views and sight lines are the great. I know it was the first night, but the food situation needs improvement. 35 minutes for food doesn't work for soccer games.
Hey SB, would you care to elaborate? did you hit one of the portables? or a fixed stand? The grab-n-go markets? just curious as to what the issues were?
Went to Balkan Treat Box about 10 minutes pregame. Order on kiosk. Waited 35 minutes for food. They have a nice board where they can display order numbers but never updated it. Instead, they screamed names from credit cards. There was zero indication how long food should take, so people had to stand there instead of watching the game. Thank God I didn't use the preorder app. Those sat on a cold metal counter. This isn't rocket science. You should: Order Enter phone number Go back to seat. Get a text, "Your food is ready" Go get food. You'd miss 3-4 minutes of the game. So easy and they failed so badly. It was a total cluster********. Also, nobody checked anything. They'd call a name and someone would say, "That's mine" They were given the food with out being asked for a receipt. I will just eat pregame before going to the stadium from now on. None of the food stands looked like they were getting food out very quickly.
I should add that having Foodtruk in the concourse was a short-sided idea. The traffic in the concourse came to a stop there and you literally had to force your way through the crowd.
My wife and I were at the game last night. We were in the Ultra Club. Stadium is beautiful. Agree with the comments about food and service. Waited way too long for overpriced beer an bland tasting pretzels. However, The most serious "service failure" was the City of St. Louis. Parking was a nightmare. And safety is a huge issue. We had to walk from the hockey arena to the soccer stadium. Did not see one cop. Hate to say this to the woke ownership group, but down-town St. Louis is really not a safe place to be, especially at night.
Did you not get the memo? They are going to revitalize downtown. The first time someone dies coming from a game due to crime or because they were stuck by someone running a red light, the team is going to have a hard time holding onto fans.
Thank you (And Misha) for elaborating. Figured there would be some issues when they started announcing local restaurants instead of generic concessions. Hopefully they get some productive feedback and make improvements prior to the regular season.
