I found this drone flyover from this weekend. From this thread at UrbanSTL https://urbanstl.com/mls-stadium-and-district-t11794-s675.html
I have no doubt that these Gold Cup games and those similar will come here over KC. We will have 4000 more seats and a well need I say more …
I would think that ownership will be throwing their hat in the ring for anything "extra" they can get, USMNT/USWNT games, int'l friendlies, etc... I know i would go see a couple of Gold cup games.
🏗 3,538 steel beams⚖️ 5,326 tons of steel🖌 8,000 gallons of paint🏟 One major milestone. Centene to be Naming Rights Sponsors of St. Louis CITY SC. Today, Centene Corporation (NYSE: CNC), a Fortune 25 healthcare company headquartered in St. Louis, and St. Louis CITY SC, the 28th club in Major League Soccer, announced a historic 15-year naming rights partnership that will name the club’s new, iconic stadium in downtown St. Louis. Centene Stadium, which will open later this summer, is a state-of-the-art soccer-specific stadium that will help unite the St. Louis region and play an important role in the positive momentum happening in the heart of St. Louis. This agreement also makes Centene a Founding Partner and official managed healthcare provider of St. Louis CITY SC. https://www.stlcitysc.com/news/our-city-our-home
Mark J. Burns @markjburns88 1h St. Louis City SC's 15-year naming rights deal with Centene Corporation has an AAV of > $5 MILLION, multiple sources tell @sbjsbd. Sources put a ballpark range on the deal at $75 MILLION to $95 MILLION, making it one of the biggest naming rights deals in MLS.
We’re absolutely thrilled to introduce our Director of Stadium Grounds, Josh McPherson! The winner of multiple STMA (Sports Turf Manager Association) awards, Josh will lead the charge in making sure the grass at Centene Stadium is pitch perfect.: https://stlcitysc.com/news/behind-the-lines-josh-mcpherson-named-as-director-of-stadium-grounds
First was thinking there was no way they'd have season ticket seat picking in May but at this pace, they very well could. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FQU-lIMXsAAScTs?format=jpg&name=900x900
Photos: Seats being installed at Centene Stadium, future home of @stlCITYsc. I believe the die-hard supporter's section for groups like @StLouligans can be seen at the north end of the stadium, nice and close to the field.
Yes, That is the north end supporters section. Note the difference in the seating bowl angle, steeper for standing and keeping you closer to the field
Matt Baker@MattBakerSTL I knew the CITY on the seats would look good, but this is incredible. The way this stadium and the huge CITY letterings are framing the downtown #STL landscape will be an iconic image for generations. #stlCITYsc
Anheuser-Busch announced as a founding partner and official beer partner of the Team / stadium. Also has naming rights for the south bar pavillion. Now the ULTRA club https://www.stlcitysc.com/news/anhe...ner-official-beer-sponsor-of-st-louis-city-sc
I'm ok with this AS LONG AS it doesn't limit the number of LOCAL craft beers available in the stadium. Also, none of this pretend craft AB puts out to act as if they don't have a monopoly - Golden Road, Blue Point, Kona, etc.
