St. Phil and Qwest

    Here's an interesting article from Nick Green at The Daily Breeze about St. Phil and the impact Qwest's problems may cause. Bottom line, Phil has a diverse portfolio so while things could get a bit more difficult, in the end MLS and the Depot should continue.

    Actually, I thought the most disturbing part was that Tim Leiwicke refused to comment, usually he is never at a loss for words.

    I heard report on NPR that even though Qwest fell on its sword and said it would restate its earnings and change its accounting practices, it did not lose any more value because Wall Street has already factored in all the bad news. Plus, it is still one of the nation’s largest regional phone companies, so it is not going anywhere. It just needs to clean up and regain value.

    I thought the most disturbing part was the number of quotes they printed from some soccer message boards known as BigSoccer.com. :p
