This game may be a very sad one. St Louis is likley going to kick our ass

 

I think it’s gotta be Baldi in his place. I don’t think Niko will be ready to go.

 

If Niko can't go, I'd like to see Skahan get a spot start...we're on the road, probably sitting a little deeper...perfect scenario for a Gruezo, Skahan, Yueill midfield.

 

Why the hell is CITY in all caps? And why the f*ck are they called City, anyway?

In this particular context it’s not only silly, it’s stupid. St.Louis the City has been separated from St. Louis the County since the 1870s. I would be offended if I lived in the County, which is where most the money is.

It's going to be Baldi almost for sure. I think in preseason the guys behind Monteiro and Yueill were Baldi and Niko.

 

Tsakiris immediately left the area where the players who are not on the bench sit after Monteiro's red card, before the game ended... maybe he is close?

 

He decided to go get treatment all of a sudden so that he might be ready next week?

 

I spoke with Shea before the game and asked about Niko. Shea said that Niko was still 2 to 3 weeks away from returning.

 

Yeah and even if he was able to go next week he probably wouldn’t be ready to start anyway.

 

Losing is still a result. I guess there could be bad weather and the game could be postponed. Then there won't be a result. But I'm with you, there will likely be a result.

I predict a win, loss, or draw vs St. Louis next week.

 

I don’t share the pessimism on here as I definitely think we are getting a draw at least. I like our counter attacking to get us a positive result.

 

I'd be more optimistic if Monteiro were able to play. He gets dragged by some folks on the forum and not w/o his shortcomings, but he's always around the ball, has a crazy work rate, a refuse-to-lose fighter mentality, and is key to linking mids to forwards. Too bad Niko is not able to go.

 

We don't know that yet, do we?

 

Yeah, someone (@SeaJayBee I think) said he asked Salinas about Niko, and he said he's 2-3 weeks away.

 

Based on your photos in the other thread, I am gonna predict Monteiro plays.
