Hope to see him and Rudiger start more together.

Should do once fit, it’s the strongest pairing we have, Eder was already the established starter of all our CB’s and Toni has more than proven himself as a starter, David should be the one to sit

I think thats what most people think should be done.

Except we probably know meritocracy isn't very consistent with Real Madrid.

I hope it’s Rudiger and Militao going forward.

I don’t think Alaba will ever fully recover, he wasn’t known for his pace and defensive ability and will be even more of a liability post ACL.

Fair enough, that’s your opinion, IMHO it is, more often than not the players that deserve to play do, so much so that then fans are begging for rotations, damnded if you do damned if you don’t got to get it just right, like porridge, the recent complaining began with wanting younger players to play before the older established ones,

Not the case with Toni, an experienced player who has performed well, he’ll continue to start I imagine, although I personally don’t have any problem with David playing, sometimes stats are the be all and end all, except when they show that players some don’t like are playing and the team is doing well, then, stats, meh, who cares.

Perhaps it has something to do with Alaba making routine mistakes and being weak aerially when a better suited player is being played out of position or is on the bench, rather than straight up hating the guy.

I would also sign a new contract faster than a speeding bullet when I'm recovering from an ACL. :D

This guy is badly needed.... Nacho is struggling and Rudiger needs some rest a some point. Hope we can see him from March.

Well, when he comes back, giving Toni a rest means playing………… Nacho, and for some fans right now that is blasphemy, unless Carlo plays Tchou at CB, IMO that won’t happen if we have three fit CBs

This report claims Militao will be ready to play for the 2nd leg against Leipzig

Not to be a Debbie Downer, but whenever players are rushed back from major injuries, it almost always never goes well performance-wise. I'd rather slowly integrate him back.

Really hope Militao recovers back to this level. Man was keeping speed with Mbappe

7 months recovery is not rushing back after ACL in modern era.

I'm not talking about that, I'm talking possibly walking straight to the starting lineup.

Might just be me but I think Eder will come back better than we’ve seen before.

Huge huge news going into the most important stretch in the CL. If we can get him back before Nacho does too much damage that would be great

    Great to see him back.

ACLs are no longer the death sentence they were back in the day. Plenty of players come back without missing a beat and/or getting better.

I see your point and I agree with you to an extent, but there are also players who never come back the same (Jese, Asensio....). I just hope you are right and we can see Rüdiger - Militao partnership back on the pitch soon.

Jese and Asensio's injuries were a long time ago if you think about it.
