If Man Utd want to give us someone can it be someone we actually need, we don't need Silvestre or O'Shea, give us the money if they want him so badly.

...also where is Defendi? has he been released or is he on a long term loan somewhere?

...supposedly Carrick did not attend training at Spurs Lodge today???anyone know anything on that?

....I'd take Richardson off their hands, or Saha.

Defendi was on loan to Udinese, but he hardly played. Not sure if he's coming back.

Carrick wasn't there, but neither was Zokora or Robinson (although, apparently, his car was in the car park). Not sure if i'd read too much into it, he might just be on extended leave. The pics on the Spurs website don't show all the players anyway, there are only 7 of them!

...yeah i know, to be honest I would not be bothered with Carrick leaving for the right money, as we have decent players to step in, and in Zokora imo a better player, well thas what i'm hoping for.

Those T-shirts they're wearing on the official site is the kind i want to purchase...real simple but classy.

Dervitte is lucky he is 6'4, he would get the shite kicked out of him if he said to someone his name is Dorian.

But that name got the geezer in Football Factory out of trouble :D

Here is our key player this season, he won't be able to surprise anyone this season and may get double teamed on him.

Hopefully that will leave space elsewhere!

How about calmly explaining to N'Zogbia that he was arguably Newcastle's most impessive player last season with heavy competition from Parker and then commenting that Newcastle felt that the fair repayment for that was to bring in a big money signing for his position?

I'd think that he would fit well with the youth movement and could probably be slotted in midfield for 8 years.

Watching that match as well on "Prem Classics' on FSC, not sure about the title but entertaining match/teeside valley derby of sorts.

A lot of their "classics" have been far from it. Still, Sunderland getting a win...that's pretty good viewing.

The upcoming "Tottenham classic" is a subpar selection.

    the liverpool game?

i caught spurs @ charlton athletic. i thought it was easily worthy of the "classic" moniker.

also, i kept waiting for middlesbrough to score like three goals in a couple minutes. i kept on thinking there's no way sunderland is going to win this... guess it was a classic cuz they actually won. how crappy is that for them? LOL

    Indeed. That was a classic

The Liverpool game was lively, but far from a "classic"

Blackburn home, Boro away, Wigan away...I think any those would be Spurs classics over the Liverpool game.

If by midtable obscurity you mean 2 places and 7 points behind you then yes that is where he has gone. For £5 million as matter of fact.

Now about N'Zogbia, you can dream all you want about him, you can watch him strole past Leadly "better than a John Terry and Fabio Cannavaro love child" King when we play you. He signed a 5 year contract a few months ago and did you know he prefers to play in the middle and not on the left. Thanks for Duff by the way, you obviously repulsed him so much that he just had to get as far from London as possible.

Wow, long time no see.. but perhaps your misplaced attempt at oneupmanship should be taken elsewhere? Facts are useful and you may only have one there, and that's the contract length.

Perhaps you'd be better off signing defenders and forwards and not going for players you don't need with money you can barely afford.

I'm not trying any "oneupmanship" I'm simply correcting some erroneous facts in a post.

I think you'll find that we did only finish 7 points behind you and that N'Zogbia does play in the middle so I think that makes me 3/3.

Thanks for the transfer hints, really appreciated it. Maybe you should also buy some new defenders too since we only conceeded 4 more goals than you last season.

We have a superior team to Newcastle.

We have a superior manager, superior chairman and a superior fanbase.

You are a gutless little worm, who trolls around bigsoccer in order to fill the hours in his sad life. Now jog on.

Wow, and you a mod too.

There are no erroneous facts, sorry. Everything I posted about the contract details is true, highest possible source (but not Shepherd).

So go away. You signed ONE player, you've not done anything more than that. So why the gloating?

Also, I have checked the last 3 pages and i didn't mention N'Zogbia. So you're not even correct on that. He is a good player though.

Now that we have dealt with him, lets get things back on track

Martin Petrov is a player we are apparently pursuing, he's a Bulgarian left winger at Atletico Madrid, pacey and a freekick specialist. Atletico did not have a great season and he may be allowed to move on.

Micah Richards is still someone that we are said to be keen on, Man City are trying to get him on a new deal but so far he is not signing it. Hopefully we will get him, but it won't be easy.
