2:0 with 2nd half starting... Now the real worrying starts.

That'll do it. Minutes after missing an open goal, Kulu curls one top right corner. 3-0.

Now that I'm "comfortable," gonna go wander off and monitory the Liverpool match day thread.

Good for Son! Good for Spurs! A few more muscles unclenched. Not on edge of seat anymore. But, ready to spring to ready position at any moment.

Not quite sure what you are saying, but I have the suspicion you might want to tell your wife to stay out of the bathroom...;)

COYS! I think this can be considered done and dusted, even for a Spurs fan. Well done boys! Well done Conte! Well Done.

Now, will Levy give him the money he needs and not screw around over-negotiating?

Son shares the Golden Boot with Salah (unless assists are a tie breaker?)

Had to laugh. Saw a City fan claim “Pep best manager in the world” and thought mate, he’s spent £100m on a bench player; let a double digit league lead dwindle to the point of needing 3 goals in the final 30 minutes of the season; no Champion’s League, no FA Cup, no Carbaro Cup. That’s a disappointing season for a team that spent that much money.

Was Kulu thinking about trying to set up Son when he missed that sitter? He looked like me staggering out of happy hour last week...

A pretty good 28 games for Conte: 56 points from 17 wins, 5 draws, 6 defeats, 60 goals scored, 24 conceded.

Anyone still disappointed we went out of the Euro-Trash League in December?

I am. We should have effing won it.

But the point is taken. Sure, we could have won it and finished fourth, and we could have stayed in it, failed to win it, and not gotten fourth, either. We'll never know, of course. But it does bring up the corresponding 'would you rather':

Go out and finish fourth, as we've done ... or win it, and come 5th in the League? I know that the former is better for the club, without question. The CL money (and the excitement of being in it), Conte and Kane resolved, better players in. I'm sure most would answer that way, and I guess I might, too.

But I'm not positive. We need to win something. That keeping Conte vastly improves our chances of winning bigger and better things probably tips the scales for me. But it's not difficult to envision 2024's arrival with Conte gone and no additional pots in the cabinet, in which case, I would've preferred the Eurotrash Cup, however much fun playing in the CL may have been.
